"We hired this handyman to repair a towel rack in our bathroom. During the initial visit, his work caused damage to a pocket door in the same wall, leaving visible scratches that were not present before the repair. After the damage was reported, his responsiveness dropped significantly. Messages frequently went unanswered, and it became difficult to get clear replies or timelines. He did return once and patched and sanded the damaged area, but the scratch remained visible and the area was not painted. He stated that if we were not satisfied, he could return to complete additional work. We scheduled a follow-up appointment about a month in advance and reconfirmed multiple times. On the day of the appointment, he did not show up and did not notify us. Messages sent that day went unanswered, and we only reached him later by phone, when he said he had family issues. Next day at 10 AM, there he was on my doorstep. About 40 minutes later the replacement was complete, including some minor adjustments that were also needed, all included in the original quoted price.
