"Waterboy Waterworks completely removed our old boiler (it was about 50 year old!) and water heater, and replaced all with new equipment. They did a wonderful installation, removed all the old stuff, went up and down our basement stair a hundred times it seems! Then they installed the new units with all new connections. They worked hard and left the area very clean. They were also very nice (and understanding) to my handicapped brother (and his questions). They are wonderful to work with, showed up on time, explained the new unit and what was available, and did a fantastic job. We would definitely use them again. In fact, we would use no one else. Great customer service and great people!"

"It was 4 PM on a Friday night.  My husband was replacing the wax ring on a basement commode, when suddenly a pipe protruding from the wall broke off in his hands, spraying him and the entire bathroom with a shower of cold, clean (thank goodness) water.  We quickly turned off the main water supply (since the specific turn offs leading to that bathroom wouldn't BUDGE!) and got onto Angie's list.   Called the first "all A-rated" plumber/handyman, and, lucky for us, that turned out to be Darrell.  He had just finished up a long week's work, and although he had never had any dealings with us previously, agreed to rescue us from a waterless week-end. ( Remember it was late Friday, PLUS he lives in Endicott and we are located up in Chenango Bridge.) <br /> He arrived, smiling and friendly, within the hour, expertly sized up and resolved the situation, and was soon finished, much to our relief and gratitude.  As he left, we chatted about our families and got to know one another a bit.  We waved as he drove away, and almost had the urge to ask, "Who was that masked man?", the way the townsfolk always did after being rescued by the Lone Ranger. <br /> His 40-someodd years of experience certainly paid off for us, and we have already asked him to return to help us with other things around the house.  He really knows what he's doing.  We feel so grateful to have found someone who would put himself out to help strangers in need, even ON a Friday night. <br />"

"We had flooding in September and we had to have plumbing work done in the basement as the water pump was dried on the boiler that we built on our furnace. They were really fantastic. We had just moved into the house when the flooding happened. We had just bought the house and so, funds were low after that. They came the very next morning. We did not have water in the well as the water pump was fried. They came as soon as they could get to our house because unfortunately the entire area had flooded due to the flooding. So, the roads were closed down. They did $1375 worth of work with $100 of deposit knowing that we did not have the money at that moment in time to pay them. They were very quick and very efficient. They were in and out. They pumped out the remaining water that we had in the basement with a sump pump and did not charge us for it. It was five weeks since we had moved to the house and the flooding was one of the things that you would want to bang your head against the wall for wondering if it was really happening to you. We had a lot of damage with the water pump and boiler frying. Our washing machine was about a foot under the water and the motor died. The flood started on the 7th of September and it continued through the 8th of September. They were there on the 10th of September. They came out on Friday to see as to what we needed and were here first thing on Saturday morning. I don't have anything to compare their price to. They were excellent in terms of their quality and responsiveness. They were small time plumbers for me to be talking about their professionalism. They were professional but they were not here in a tie having an in depth conversation or anything like that. They were basically in and out very quickly and did their job."
