"The whole process went smoothly from start to finish.  i have a home on the National Historic register and Mike couldn't have been more careful getting his equipment and supplies in and out of the house.  Every day he would lay down tarps over their walking path, through the living room and down the hallway to the basement stairwell, to protect my wood floors.  Every day when they left, he removed the tarps, swept the floors and even damp mopped if they had any spots on them.   <br /> He let me know each day before he left when he would be here again and he was here when he said he would be.  He kept me up to date on their progress with the job.  He also fixed little things at the house that he saw along the way.  I had a door hinge that was coming loose and the screws weren't grabbing to tighten it.  He got longer screws and put them in to fix it.  He also fixed a few sprinkler heads on the way into the house that he must have seen each time he passed by them!   <br /> On top of doing a fantastic job at my house, Mike and his family are delightful people.  They were very kind and considerate.  I have had workers at the house previously that swore like sailors and yelled at each other all day.  You won't hear any of that from Mike or his help.  They were a pleasure to have at my home.   <br /> I would highly recommend Canyon Meadows for any job, large or small.  In fact, I have them working on two other projects at my house already!"

"After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. <br /> <br /> We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. "<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. We recommend you consider this vendor for your next construction project.</p> <br />"

The installed doogy door, sliding glass door, wall sections all turned out great. The kitchen counter move and cabinet rehang went good too. "I didn't have a soft water loop so it was necessary to run water lines from the main to where the softener would be located. Drywall wall was cut to run the waterlines in the walls. After the drywall was repaired, it is as if they never cut the walls. Everything turned out great. I am pleased with with the work. The plumber and Drywall-er both were punctual, knowledgeable, and professional. Cost was reasonable."
