"My older home is 100% siding, with both aluminum and wood. GC South Star sent their project manager Gerson out to quote and manage the project and he and his team did an amazing job. House was power washed (they even did the fences around the house as a courtesy!), they removed a satellite dish, cables/wiring and patched holes, taped up windows and doors prior to spraying the house and balcony - house looks completely new! They were prompt in their estimate and scheduling, price was fantastic (I had gotten 5 estimates and theirs was the best) and I am very pleased with the work. They also did not require the balance of the payment until we had walked through and finished anything that needed fixing - only a couple of small things. Based on their work and professionalism, my parents also hired them to complete a total repainting of the interior of their home (they also reviewed them). "Someone came out to check our interior and exterior walls. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He said there were no major leaks in the mortar that were visible and the leaks were most likely coming from behind the gutter. He explained that the gutter would need to be removed, meaning I would need to hire a roofer since they do not deal with gutters or roofing and that I would end up paying for two jobs. He suggested instead that I find a roofer that would remove the gutter who was skilled enough to do the necessary tuckpointing to save us money. He also looked at the interior damage and told us the materials to buy because we said we wanted to repair that ourselves. He was extremely helpful and gave us the most economical suggestions rather than booking repairs with them and hiring a roofer. If we need work done to our masonry or foundation only in the future, I will definitely go with Hicon."

When the men showed up for work they were timely and efficient. There was no cursing or smoking which was a big plus in my book! The owner told me that all of the workers have been drug tested. "Robert McQueen came out and gave me and my neighbor quotes to replace our roofs. The estimates were considerably less than other companies I received quotes from. As soon as the weather was good enough they began their work and completed it in a reasonable time. Included in the job were some minor roof deck repairs, added flashing where there wasn't any and some additional gutter supports where needed. On these types of jobs, I always expect the clean up to be marginal at best. Their clean up was exceptional. I highly recommend them and would definitely would hire them again."
