"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! "Jacob updated our circa 1994 main bath from nasty 31 year old carpet, typical builder-grade oak cabinets, and cultured marble counter tops to tile floors, shaker style cabinetry, and quartz counters. Renovation included replacing our dinosaur jacuzzi tub with a freestanding tub. He also updated our fireplace area by removing river rock and replacing it with tile to the ceiling. "Arlin and Ana along with their team produced results beyond all my expectations. They painted an entire studio apartment and most would think, well that was probably a small and quick job. Oh no. True professional painters know it all starts with the proper prep work. This team preformed magic which included patching, sanding and texturing holes and I don't mean just tiny nail holes and I don't mean just a few holes. The apartment looked like a shooting scene from the Bonnie and Clyde movie. I would dare anyone to find a repaired hole marking, you can't. The walls, ceilings and trim are painted to a flawless finish. Then they threw in a little carpentry work by securing a few completely unattached baseboards. They use a well-known paint company and know the proper finish selection for walls, ceilings and trim including a small moisture accumulating bathroom or whatever you may have as a painting project. They showed up on time every day and were able to complete the job in 2 days plus a couple of hours. Cleaned up the place beautifully, not a drop of paint where it shouldn't be. Of course, they leave all the extra paint with labels and such. Very competitive pricing. Easy and fast communication. I will be hiring them in the near future to paint the entire interior of my own home. They also do exterior painting and the finished product is nothing short of amazing.
