"Called Lifeline to find a leak in wall behind the fridge. Discovered it was an improperly capped feedline to the icemaker outlet for fridge. They replaced the cap and stopped the leak. We discovered the the house had in the floor main water feed lines, and the plumber had to knock out holes in several places before he found the line leading to the icemaker line. But after all that, he chose to not cut the line and cap it there.
So he made a mess trying to find the leak and a solution, did fix it, but cost me another couple hundred to get a handy man in to fix the drywall holes.
But really bothered me was he kept pitching to me to re-plumb the entire house as the lines were old and being in the concrete slab was going to continue to be a problem, even after I politely told him it was not a solution I was interested in right now. Didn't take no for an answer.

"Steve was extremely professional, helpful and pleasant to work with.  (My dogs who normally aren't very quick to get along with men they've never met quickly acted like his presence was no big deal).  He was very thorough and even went above and beyond when he was in my attic and noticed the recently installed water heater had a gas leak, which he repaired.  He was very honest about things that needed repair or issues that could wait or were not that important.  He and Rhonda were very punctual and professional in scheduling and very generous with their discounts.  I would absolutely use them again.
