"Everybody at Robersons restoration & remediation were professional and punctual. My basement is dry and the mold is gone, finally. They did a great job and I feel more comfortable at home now. I'd recommend them to anyone."

"Professional and honest. Superb service!!!!"

"I had asked that they replace my existing old street-side mailbox. They got there and looked at it and told me they could repair it instead of replace it and save me a lot of money! And they did! Excellent work and courtious service. They will be my "go-to" handymen going forward."

"

I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.

"Quick response and quick work. Appreciate his honesty with home projects. Plan to use again and again."

"Brent reviewed the job on Sunday 9/8 and discussed the repair work on basement window replacement and other window projects. He expressed his confidence in performing this job superbly and also to complete other projects in the allotted time. He came out on 9/9 to do the work with his helper but was not able to adequately complete the job in a skilled manner since, as he stated to me, it was more challenging and required better materials and expertise than he could provide. I asked that he stop the work so that the window could be replaced by a window installation professional. Brent advised me to pay him for the materials only and request a refund since the labor was not up to par with what was paid for and expected."

"Mr. Hayden is a trustworthy, timely, and very knowledgeable contractor. Mr. Hayden is very considerate and can be trusted to have access to the residence whether someone is home or not. In the past, I have heard horror stories from other people about contractors doing work in their houses. That is not the case with Mr. Hayden. Mr. Hayden’s years of experience and attention to detail was greatly appreciated during our basement renovation. Mr. Hayden’s flexibility as our basement renovation progressed was greatly appreciated and without a doubt we were extremely happy Mr. Hayden finished our basement into an excellent livable space."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"nk The object was to repair the broken sash ropes, but I could see how
complicated that was going to be. The two men from Handy Helpers and I
discussed the cost and time and inconvenience fixing the broken sash
ropes throughout the house was likely to be, vs. the wisdom of simply
replacing all the old windows with up-to-date, energy-efficient windows, and I decided the wiser course of action would be window replacement. The Handy Helpers guys arranged for a window company in southern Indiana (I think it?s called America?s Window) to give me a cost estimate for window replacement.
