"John and his team with Trublue did a great job on my bathroom remodel. They went above and beyond and my new bathroom looks better than I ever imaged! John came in and we had a consultation on what I was wanting in my remodel and put in his system and was able to show me exactly how it would look. They were professional, knowledgeable, clean, timely, and kept me in the loop every step of the process. Will definitely be using Trublue for future remodels. "

"I have a split-level home. The area of siding facing east above my garage had been improperly installed by the siding company. Not necessarily their fault as I found out later that the manufacturer had provided the wrong specs to the installer. The installation had not allowed a large enough gap at the bottom of the siding where it meets the roof of the garage to allow water to drain away. As a result, the bottom boards were rotting and peeling. Additionally, the frame at the bottom of my patio door had suffered some water damage and, with support lost, the door was sagging in its track and not sealing properly, which allowed in a sizable draft.
I checked Angie's list and got the names of the top three contractors for these types of jobs. J.Wahl was not among them but only because no one had done a review of him yet. I called the top three. Number one was booked solid and couldn't come out for an estimate. Two and Three came out, couldn't identify the source of the problem, but gave estimates in the thousands of dollars and their fixes included complete replacement of all of the siding and a new patio door and frame. The thinking, I guess, was that proper installation of siding and a new patio door would automatically resolve the sources of the issues. My saving grace was I had asked Number One for their recommendations for contractors and Jamie Wahl's name was mentioned. To be fair, they had also mentioned Two and Three from Angie's list, so I'm sure they are reputable and competent contractors, but they under-performed on the estimate.
Jamie was my fourth call. He came out and spotted the source of the problems right away, which led to a much simpler repair diagnostic. He was between larger projects and said he could start right away. He came when he said he would. The work was all performed in one day with minimal expenses for materials as he was able to save most of what was already there and just fix the problem areas and the surrounding damage. His cost was more than fair. He was polite, professional and he cleaned up all the mess from his repairs. My only regret is that it has taken me this long to get around to writing a positive review for him on this site. All of his work has held up and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others or use his services again.
"

"We bought our house in mid-May 2012 and planned to move in July 1. We did the demo work ourselves. Our first contractor and crew was slow, disorganized, and messy. They had no sense of time. We hired Paul to put up our fence about mid-June, but when he saw the state of our house project, we ended up talking about that and hiring him to take over as general contractor. He brought in extra people to try to meet our deadline.
When Paul came on board the beams had been replaced, some electrical and plumbing work had been done, the gas furnace was in, but the water heater still needed to be installed. The windows and patio door were in. The basement stairs had been done and work started on the downstairs bath. The walls were still at the studs. The place was a mess.
Paul put together a crew that worked efficiently and even cleaned up at the end of each day. A lot of the previous plumbing work had to be redone. Apparently we'd had an unlicensed plumber previously. The on-demand heater was difficult to install but the new plumbing crew figured it out together with our furnace guy. Paul brought in a drywaller who did a wonderful job getting the walls up and finished. They even painted which we had planned to do ourselves.
We could always contact him by text him to find out how things were going, what he needed. We didn't feel like we had to be there every day to stay on top of things. He understood our time schedule. We didn't feel like we were walking through a dump when we visited the house. He helped us through the inspection process. We didn't finish quite on time, but considering everything we did well to be just a few days later. We ended up spending a lot more money than we'd anticipated, but we got quality work done when we needed it.
"

"Premier Investments did a fantastic job finishing our lower level! There strong attention to detail is evident by the quality of their work. They did crow's foot texture on the ceiling, rounded corners on the drywall, and created beautiful custom built-in shelving with arches that created a contemporary yet upscale look. The were even able to match our existing millwork perfectly which provides a seamless transition between the upper and lower levels of our home. Not only did Aaron and Don deliver exceptional quality, but they were also punctual, friendly, and professional. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor really stood out when I made changes to the plan halfway through the project. They graciously accommodated my requests, even though it meant more work for them. The project was completed within the time frame specified and right on budget. I will definitely call Premier Investments for all of our future home improvement needs. They provide outstanding quality at a competitive price!"
