"it went great. i had ordered a new dishwasher that a big box company was supposed to install last weekend. they texted me the day before it was to be done and told me it would be 3 weeks before they could install it. So I cancelled the sale and bought another dishwasher from another company and I used ANGI and was put in touch with Capital Appliance Repair on friday and they said he could be here monday , 2 days later and not 3 weeks like the " trusted contractor" the big box stores push. install was perfect, installer was great. if i ever need anything else i will be calling them"

Hello my name is Aj I live in the Raleigh area but are more than willing to go the distance for a job.. my Dad actually had me working a warehouse job when I was 15 so I’m great with furniture assembly, moving appliances, fixing appliances like an oven or a washer and dryer machine. I get my work done in a timely manner to get out your way but I also do my work do my work more diligently than anybody else. Anything you need I’m willing to learn about it and help resolve the problem.

"Woke up first thing in the morning to find my existing water heater overflowing from the top. Michael and Sons was the only plumber who could come to my house the same day. Repairman was knowledgeable and professional. Explained what needed to be done and explained options for different levels of replacement tank. I called my neighbor, who told me he had his replaced for around $1,500. The estimate for the work from M&S was nearly $2,600, including my Angie's List discount. Looking at the itemized list, this included $250 for installing a large yellow and black post in my garage to prevent running into the tank, $100 for the town of Cary permit for inspecting the work, and $200 in carbon monoxide detectors needed to past the inspection. None of this was "replacing the tank," but the tech would not start the work unless I agreed to all of it. When I realized the CO detectors were the $14.99 ones from Lowe's I managed to convince him that I would buy them myself and install them. Saved me a good amount. At the end of the day, I overpaid for this because I needed it fixed same day. The work was completed on time, and seems to be a very quality job. If needed, I'd have them do the work again, but I'd rather shop around for a better price."

"Summary: Good service, good communication, reasonable cost, customer-centric business. I would hire again and recommend working with them for appliance repair. The freezer started acting funny - interior light and controller display flashed when the door was opened. Then the display got 'stuck,' the interior light didn't turn on, and (most importantly) it stopped cooling. I called ARK on a Sunday, and they had a technician available on Tuesday. He diagnosed the problem as a bad controller and had to order another one. Thanks to COVID and holiday shipping, it took a week for the new controller to arrive. The technician kept us informed regarding the part's ETA and when he'd be back to install it. When he returned, he swapped out the bad controller, and the freezer started up as soon as it was plugged in and is now operating normally. Happy with the service received."
