"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"After a consultation with Kenny on the work I needed done, I hired VA Brick Doctor. Kenny repointed steps on the front and back porch, and repaired couple areas on porch where tiles were cracked and loose. Due to rainy weather I had to wait a few weeks before he could start but the wait was worth it. Kenny and his assistant arrived early and worked in hot, humid conditions. Kenny is easy to work with, meticulous, and knows his trade. I was very pleased with his work. It has been a year since the work was done and everything looks great."

"Chuck Hipp and his employee, Antonio, did a phenomenal job! The brick fireplace was sinking and the bricks were separating from the wall. After investigation Chuck determined that there were no footers under the fireplace. He installed new footers, supported the brick wall and reattached all the bricks and suggested the fireplace be covered with stucco and tiles to match the Spanish style of the house. The fireplace turned out beautifully and became the true focal point of the living room. The house was listed for sale and I know the beautiful stucco fireplace helped to sell the home quickly. We moved to our new 1948 house and discovered that the chimney needed to be rebuilt. I received a bid from A Step in Time chimney sweeps which was astronomical. I then consulted a structural engineer who confirmed the bid was outrageously high. He recommended a good brickmason be consulted. I found Chuck Hipp and Hipp Masonry Works on Angies List. Chuck investigated the problem and determined that the chimney needed to be torn down and rebuilt at the roof line and he was able utilize new bricks with old bricks to match the new chimney addition to the existing home and bottom half of the chimney. He asked me to drive around and take photos of chimneys I liked and he would duplicate it. I found a chimney on a beautiful older home and Chuck was able to duplicate it to suit my brick, Tudor home. It is gorgeous and best of all the fireplace can now be used for a beautiful wood fire. He then removed and replaced all the broken, damaged bricks throughout the exterior of the house using mainly old bricks salvaged room the chimney rebuild. Chuck and Antonio did incredible work and at half the price of the previous bid. Before they left they brought in topsoil to fill in any holes in our lawn due to the work and they used soil to regrade the back of the house which had been the cause of damage to lower bricks. They also repointed the front steps and remortered the boxes for the exterior porch lights which were hanging loose from the brick exterior. I will only call the HippMasonry Works for any brick work."

"The original intent was to have the Fireplace cleaned in preparation of the winter. Excellent job.
While here and asked about the chimney guard at top which need to be replaced. Excellent job.
While up there owner took photo of top of chimney and showed that though cement is ok for now, that it will need to be repaired and I authorized them to do so. Another excellent job. The I figure might as well vaccum out the dryer vent as that was needed as well. again excellent job. by just 2 guys. The owner and helper.

"I used Belletto before to pour a concert slab to park off street at my house.  That experience was great.  
I called Dan about building a shed and he came out in a day or two to discuss plans and specifications.  In June 2015 I provided and earnest check for 1/2 of the project cost.  I was told at that time that the shed would be completed by the end of July 2015.  By the end of August, only the concrete pad had been poured.  Work on the main shed did not start until October.  Weather, broken trucks, etc were all used as reasons for delays.  This is contractor speak for "the dog ate my homework".  I believe if the contractor can't do the work or can't do it in the time specified then that should be stated up front.  The "dog ate my homework" gets very old and aggravating after a few months especially when they are comfortably sitting on 4500.00 of my money.  
During the project one of the guys on the site dented a downspout right near the shed.  I brought the issue up over the phone with Dan and he said he would have it fixed.  It is now January and the dent is still there.  
Quality of the shed is great.  I couldn't be happier about that.  
Bottom line is if you expect something by the time stated by Belletto, guess again.  They want their earnest money early, way early before THEY plan on starting your project.  I was also billed in full two days prior to project completion date, due that day.  
If you want quality work, have money to give to them for a while before they start, and don't mind your calls not returned after you give them the final check, Belletto is for you.

"I purchased the Angie' list special they listed for 149. 2 guys for 3 hrs or 1 guy for 6hrs. Jeff said he stopped overt look at the repairs for the trim. He said it would take 2 guys 10 hrs for additional cost of $500 plus material.. My request was to get what I prepaid for, 1 guy for 6 hrs. That was not an option. Which makes me feel like a bait and switch approach.. He did make a good point, he likes to do things right.. My point is I like to get what I paid for.. The deal was canceled any funds were refunded"

Everything went very well!

Dave and Melisa are great to work with.  All of the communications were clear and concise.

Dave came out for the estimate, was clear about what the costs were and where there could be growth work as they get into the project.

We purchased the tile and grout before scheduling the work.

Keith, was the tech that did the tile work and he was very professional and kept us informed of the progress.  Once he pulled-up the old floor, it was clear that the underlayment all had to be replaced with self-leveling compound.  The addition cost was extremely reasonable.

We plan on contacting Get It Done Contracting for our next renovation project.
