The guttering and fascia repair will be done soon. Emily Rinaldo, the HCR marketing rep., gave a thorough and lengthy (3 hours) presentation on every aspect of the roof. She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The well-manned roofing team arrived on the day stated and completed most of the roofing in one day. The roofers had been trained by HCR and were not day-laborers or sub-contractors. They returned early the next morning and completed their work in a couple hours. No unpleasant surprises here! "Bevin's did a very professional job. They striped off all the existing shingles, repaired some water damaged roof decking, and installed new shingles. They worked diligently from early morning until sunset. It was a 3-1/2 day job on a 2-1/2 story house. When the work was complete they cleaned up all the mess and the only evidence they had been was a great looking new roof and their sign at the road. Work was completed at the estimated cost. I would recommend them to friends and would use them again in the future."

"Originally, we were scheduled to have our roof inspected on January 10, but due to an ice storm it was not actually inspected until January 24. The owner came out finding that the roof was in pretty good shape. However, some of the roof caps on the various ridge lines needed to be replaced. He also found that the sealant around the pipes coming through the roof had cracked and could be letting in water from either rain or snow. The Technician came out the next day and repaired everything. He also cleaned out the gutters which were long overdue to be cleaned."

"Excellent work! At least 1/3 of my roof on the north side had a great deal of moss on it. On much of the rest of the roof there were small amounts of moss along the bottom edge of shingles, and there were patches in scattered places on the main part of the shingles. After Hector and his son cleaned the roof, it looked brand new. They removed plants and furniture from our deck before the job and replaced them after the job. They even did a light washing of the vinyl siding of the house, which was outside the agreed-upon scope of work, but they did not charge me for it. As a former member of a site safety office in a then-Fortune 50 company, I was particularly impressed with the excellent precautions they took to insure their safety on the roof during the job. Hector’s 27+ years of experience was evident in every aspect of the job. I plan to bring him back in a year for annual maintenance. "Atlantic Services replaced our old roof with GAF Lifetime Architectural Shingles.   The estimate included the removal of the old shingles, several damaged pieces of plywood and an old attic fan.  The roof replacement included the installation of one layer of commercial grade felt paper, ice and water shield, starter shingles, re-flashing all walls, installation of ridge vent on all ridges (including the shed), the replacement of all pipe collars with double collars and painting of all stacks and vents with anti-rust paint.  The work was completed within 2 days.  The owner, Mr. Lego was very helpful.  He thoroughly explained the entire process and answered all of our questions.  He brought over several different shingle colors and was instrumental in final color selection.  Mr. Lego was on the roof working with the crew and had direct oversight of the job.  They were all very professional.  I would not hesitate to use this company again.

"The installers arrived on time and were professional in their work.  I had done a lot of research on gutter guard systems and determined that the Gutter Dome was the best solution - stainless steel with a mesh that would not pass debris from the roof or pine needles.  They finished fairly quickly and appeared to have done a good job.  Upon later closer inspection we found some roofing shingles that were left up and several ends that were not finished.  We have a "V" joint where the garage roof meets the main house.  We were assured that the Gutter Dome would capture the water flow in this corner without a baffle.  That turned out not to be the case, so they returned to add a baffle, finish the ends and lay the shingles flat.
      Later we found that a light mist or heavy dew would not go through the mesh so we ended up with a constant dripping all around the house.  This would not be a problem except that it drips right over the front and rear entrance doors and that moisture freezes in the winter leaving a slick coating of ice.  In a heave dew the water collects and runs in rivulets across the surface of the Gutter Dome and over the edge of the gutter.  The solution was supposed to be a scrubbing with a detergent such as Simple Green and/or the passage of time.  Not so.  After over a year it was still dripping.  The company is now under new ownership but after an initial miscommunication we had a visit from Will to try to correct the problem.  He arrived on time, in fact early enough to observe the dripping.  His initial idea was to run a bead of silicone along the surface of the Gutter Dome, but I questioned the longevity of that solution.  He ended up installing a 1/4" hand-cut deflector near the edge of the gutter.  Unfortunately that didn't help. 
    After a few more calls and discussions with Kieth and Dan, Will came back and replaced a number of sections of the Gutter Dome with the slightly wider mesh Magna.  Water from heavy dew and light rain can more easily get through the Magna's surface and that appears to have taken care of the problem.  It's almost impossible to tell where one stops and the other begins except for the drips over the edge of the gutter.  No pine needles or debris get through either.
     This dripping was not a problem with our old system (which is no longer available) and we were very disappointed with the way this installation had turned out but impressed with Kieth, Dan & Will's willingness to correct it.  In the meantime I've changed their responsiveness and overall rating to A's thanks to their efforts.  I will say, however that it took numerous calls and quite a bit of time before they did come back (we are 2 hours away from their location but within their service area), so be persistent.
     All in all we are happy with the installation and still believe this is the best gutter guard system available.  I would not hesitate to use them if we were starting over again."
