"Plumber Cameron Opuda from Michael & Sons Services took on a difficult and overdue sewer fix for Dad. Mr. Opuda had a can do attitude and was super at the turn around time. Great communication from the company as well. Aside: Lesson learned for Dad, never plant trees above any kind of buried lines. They can crush anything. Michael and Sons are not the cheapest rates in town, but the solid reputation with the Home Advisor proved solid. I think the price should be $3500 for a sewer line replacement on a quarter acre, as a standard, but the competition did not have as good a track record and they took many weeks to get back to me on requests. Kudos Michael and Sons Services."

They offered sound advice on maintaining a septic system, solved the sewer gas smell by explaining what we should do to maintain the system (they did not have to do any plumbing work on the toilet), then took some time to walk the property, crawl under the house, and probe to accurately identify the location of the septic tank. They were professional, friendly, and explained everything they were doing and what WE should do as home owners. My husband and I were very pleased with the service and advice. When it is time to have our septic system pumped we will use Powell's Plumbing. And, if we have any plumbing issues at all we will call Powell's Plumbing. "<p>Very nice people and they did a great job without harming anything in the house. Very neat job .He did the outside line without digging up our yard, they fed the line underground from the meter to the house . If I hadn't been there watching them I would not have believed they did it at all. They did everything outside in one day and inside in a day and a half and left us with one bathroom working over night. Our neighbors were so impressed that they had theirs done by Bob Jones also. Also I had to call him this winter because our heat was not working when it was 2 degrees below 0.(this was at 5 a.m.) He said he didn't do that type of work but he asked to take the cover off the thermostat and sure enough the batteries were leaking. Then he had me go outside and check to see if the condensation line from the furnace was frozen up, and it was. I changed the batteries and put a hairdryer on the patio directed at the frozen line and everything was back to normal in a very short time and he didn't even charge me. But I did send him something anyway.. This is a great guy and he has very nice people working for him .His wife and son work with him (in the office) and they are very nice and helpful too.</p> <br />"
