"Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."

"Overall, well. They did what they promised and we were able to work through unexpected issues easily. The crew is a bit noisy and works better when Rick is there. They do understand concrete and our driveway (a very big project) is the talk of the neighborhood. Ran into an issue where the driveway connects to a detached garage and Rick's solution was a good one, completing the job. Nice job sloping the concrete to move water away from the house."

"They were prompt and completed the job timely in April 2017. We then had the driveway professionally sealed in June 2017 as they recommended. The problem is the concrete is now badly scaling. I called them twice to explain the situation and they said they would send someone to look at the problem. It's been over two months and no one has contacted me and no one ever came to see the condition of the concrete. "I had a few concrete steps that I wanted to have repaired before an upcoming home appraisal. (Also, I was growing increasingly worried that I or my mail carrier were going to twist an ankle.) Because the job was a repair, I had a difficult time finding a company willing to come and give me an estimate. After many calls and either outright rejections or no callbacks, Ken from RJL called me and said he could come out the next day to give me an estimate. He was prompt and his estimate was fair, so I told him to go ahead and put the job on his schedule. He asked me when my appraisal was and worked to finish the repair job before that date. The work was only completed today, but it looks great (way better than the patches the previous homeowner used) and he paid great attention to detail in his work. He was efficient, respectful of my time, and genuinely concerned about the quality of the work he was doing.

"I left a message and Robert called me back within an hour, so I appreciated the quick return of the call,  I told him I had two 4" diameter holes to repair as well as a small area adjacent to a recessed light.  He told me that it's a pretty easy repair, but he has a minimum charge of $175.  I was having furntiure delivered in my living room and I told Robert I would like to get the work done prior to the delivery.  He said he couldn't promise anything, but he would do the best he could.  Well, Robert finished a job early on the other side of Pittsburgh and asked if he could come over and do the work.  I was able to meet him at my house within 30 minutes.  It took him and his helper maybe 40 minutes to finish everything.  They put out several drop cloths to catch anything that might fall (and it did fall) and swept the carpet afterwards.  They were not able to match the texture of the ceiling; that was a little disappointing but not a surprise.  But, the texture was done well enough that no one would notice unless I called their attention to it.

Beings how I was not in a big hurry I told Mike he could come pour the floor on a rain day as it will be inside and he cold use the sunny days for any other outside work he had. He seemed to appreciate that.  Mike called me and told me what day he would be there.  They showed up on time (a little early actually) the whole crew was professional. They did exactly as they said they would.  I paid mike in full and trusted he would come back to do the relief cuts.  Just as he promised he had a crew come back and do the relief cuts. The floor is well beyond what I was expecting.   I would HIGHLY recommend Westmoreland Concrete to anyone who needs some cement work."
