"I reached out to Johnson & Sons and several other contractors to discuss the possibility of opening up and completely remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms, with the addition of a shower to the former half bath off the master suite. After receiving bids and meeting with each contractor, I went with Johnson & Sons due to the transparency and consideration Vic Johnson showed when discussing the project and its challenges, as well as providing a detailed quote. Because this remodel involved the removal of walls, tiling of the kitchen/bathrooms, potential size constraints, and a re-plumbing of the house, It was very important for me that things be done correctly, to code and with permits. Once demo and construction started, things proceeded at a brisk pace with minimal lag between subcontractors, and inspections. Their tile guy, Tony was great to work with and very helpful with making the appropriate detail selections around the showers. We did have a long wait for a cosmetic piece of cabinet siding, which ended up being the final part needed to complete the project. Vic was direct with me about the issue and the delay. Such a minor issue is in my opinion, very small potatoes compared to having quality work done. Ultimately, Johnson & Sons came in slightly under their contract price - a very pleasant and welcome surprise."

These were both full remodels with new cabinets, tile, fixtures, plumbing, showers, and electrical work. As part of the work, he also fixed a draining issue and added insulation where it didn't exist before. His knowledge of what to do and how to fix things was impressive. What I appreciated the most was that Paul takes the time and effort to do everything with high quality, and when bringing in sub-contractors, he ensured all their work was up to his high standards. The designer gave me some great ideas for my primary concern and, because my townhouse is small, we talked thru ideas for one of my bathrooms, and also flooring on my stairs and in my main entrance. It can be a bit daunting to have a designer assess your home - but Gina was very professional and friendly. She helped me find a wonderful sofa, appropriately recommending investing in a slightly higher-end piece than I had considered initially because, "You'll be sitting on this every day" - and then shop for inexpensive "occasional chairs" which I did - and am very happy with the final results. "We are very happy with our new Jacuzzi shower. It is a great upgrade from the 30+ year original shower we had been using. Our installers, Austin and Corbin, were excellent. The idea of turning over our bathroom to them for two days was somewhat intimidating, but they were very prompt, professional, and personable, and kept us informed as needed every step of the way, answering any questions we had. They were very careful about keeping the pathway to the bathroom clean, minimizing any debris while taking out the old shower, and completely cleaning up when finished, hauling all removed materials away. They also were very thorough in leaving us contact information if we have any concerns requiring follow-up, which we do not anticipate needing. We would not hesitate to use Jacuzzi's bath remodel products and services again!"
