He figured out an ingenious way to hoist the heavy door to the second floor, and very skillfully and quickly adjusted the frame to fit the door, and affixed the heavy-duty hinges. And for the first-floor door, he figured out a way to repair the existing frame (rather than replace it), thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. All the work was done to a very high standard by a skilled professional who worked quickly and efficiently. And the price-tag for all this was remarkably low -- only a third the price I'd been quoted by another local handyman firm. I am delighted to have discovered Bryan, and look forward to calling him the next time I need help with a home repair."

"This was a big job that was part of a whole-house renovation. JA Drywall installed framing and drywall throughout my second floor (three bedrooms + hallway) that had experienced a fair amount of water damage as the result of a leaky roof. Juan and Joshua were great coordinating the project--super quick response time for a walk-through & estimate. And the crew were great---super nice guys who did a great job. (One of them even lent me a tool to help with a project I was working on in the kitchen!) Both my carpenter and painters were impressed with their work. I would rehire &/or recommend them in a heartbeat."

"Dan was punctual and polite and delivered exactly what I asked for. He really listened to me and gave me two closets that I really love. One closet was my own design and he executed it exactly as I envisioned it. Dan reinforced our bathroom towel bar and hung the new medicine cabinet as well as mounted several more wall hooks than anticipated, plus hanging two wall mirrors. Before he left, he quickly fixed the hinges on two of my kitchen cabinets at no charge. One of my favorite projects is the new barn door on our laundry room. I have other projects and thought this would be a good way to get to know Mel and the work I could expect. What I can say from what I learned is that Mel is very much a seasoned craftsman as demonstrated by his solid work and attention to detail. He is also timely, responsive, and trust worthy which are all things I look for in a contractor.
