"I am currently unable to do my deep house cleaning due to an injury.  I hired Crystal Dove Cleaning for the purpose of deep cleaning bathrooms, floors and kitchen.  I obtained an appt promptly.  I had a scheduled appt. at 0900.  At 0930 when no one had arrived, I called and was told they were "running late".   I understand people are detained, however a call would have been much appreciated.  I was originally booked for 4 hours of cleaning service. When it became obvious that the items I wanted completed could not be done in this amount of time, I agreed to pay extra for extra time spent as I wanted it done properly.   The cleaning person called me after 5 hours and stated she was done.  When I arrived home the first thing I noticed was that my stairs (situated as one walks in the front door), looked like they weren't touched.  I asked if my floors were done and was told "we don't do stairs".  Seriously, all of my floors were cleaned and they didn't vacuum the stairs, so now I can track everything from the stairs onto my clean floors!!  I made calls to other agencies and no one else had this policy.  My front bathroom looked wonderful. The master bathroom shower tiles, and accessory trays had not been touched.  They were still dirty, while the shower floor looked very clean.  I don't think I'm too unreasonable but I must say that I was disappointed as this was the first time I have had someone else clean my home.
