"It was a complete tear down to the studs.  Home Depot sent SoCal to us. The work took longer than they indicated it would.  Originally, they said it would take a week.  The work took longer because of the flooring, etc. They came on a daily basis and stuck to the job.  They were very personable and helpful.  We were especially happy with the tile floor with decorative inserts that they installed. They were the more thrifty of the three estimates we received. Subsequently, we have had some problems on the vanity counter top with staining and they have not followed up with us."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. "Jon estimated that it may take 7 or 8 working days for his crew of 3 and scheduled a mutually acceptable start date.  Shortly before that date one of his crew moved up north so in his plce John brought 2 others that he uses for larger jobs.  The crew of 4 showed up on time as planned and completed the job in 5 days instead. <br /> During the job Jon checked with me each day to be aboslutely sure that the job was progressing as I expected.  Because we continued to live in the house during this project, Jon and his crew took great care to plan the stages so that our family of 6 would still have access to every room with minimal interuption.  They made sure that we were not inconvinienced. <br /> At the end of each day they made sure that our living areas were quite clean.  When the job was finished they thoroughly cleaned everything.  They were sure to sweep and mop all of the tile so that there wasn't even any grout residue or grit.  We were able to walk barefoot immediately on these very clean floors. <br /> I also required 1/8" thin grout lines which leaves very little room for error.  Any slight differences show up quickly in larger areas.  The end result is beautiful.  All of the lines are perfectly straight.  All of the transitions are smooth and unnoticeable.  There were no surprises and everything everything went smoothly.  We couldn't be happier.  I am so glad that I took the time to track down this guy who had proven to be so reliable so long ago and is even better today. <br />"

"The service itself was good. They sent one girl to clean my whole house for 5 hours....I had a house I was getting ready to rent. She was very punctual and worked hard the whole time. She kept me informed when she was about finished and was willing to work an extra half hour to finish cleaning everything I needed cleaned. They charged me $9.99 for the extra half hour which I thought was reasonable. <br /> Ok, what was really weird about this company......they take your card over the phone and charge you for the service before it is even completed (like days before). You also have to include the tip into the amount......I would rather tip upon completion of the service so that I know that person gets the full tip.... They charged my card on file with the additional $9.99 after calling me and letting me know how much it would be. Maybe this process isn't weird for a cleaning company, as it was my first time ever using a service like this. <br /> All in all a good company, just a weird payment method. I would use the service again."
