"He was incredible. From day one, he was very responsive, and so was the person who worked with him (Chris). We had an issue with a contractor that took deposits from us for material (floors and windows) that he never actually ordered, pocketed the money, and then disappeared-- that guy's name is Dave McHale from Stamford-- and so we had to put our countertop project on the back burner while we recollected. Precision was so kind about it, they had no issues delaying the install (and therefore final payment) for several months and when they installed it, they did a perfectly beautiful job on all aspects from cut to install. I was so nervous about working with anyone after our incident but Precision put me at ease with their responsiveness, willingness to put everything in email, patience, and overall kindness, which seems to be a rarer and rarer quality in customer service. The gentlemen who came to do the install were very sweet also, and very professional. He mentioned to me that the stone we picked out was the densest he's ever cut, and the labor time was a lot higher than usual, but Precision did NOT pass on the cost to us, or increase our bill, or anything. Very reliable. I've had my counter now for over a year and there are no issues in the seams, or around the faucet, etc. <br />"

"The marble countertop of our our master bathroom sink had been etched in areas and the finish was uneven.  Jay refinished / re-polished the countertop and it looks like the day it was installed.  He also cleaned up and resealed the tumbled marble on our shower floor, and re-grouted the area.  I wasn't expecting much as the tile had seriously faded since its installation in 2008, but Jay brought it back to looking like new as well. <br /> Jay responded to us the same day that we contacted him.  He had an opening the following day and completed the work in one visit.  To say he is prompt, professional and talented is an understatement... he clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows. <br />"

Even though he was not going to get any work, he carefully explained what could be done to clean and protect the existing grout, specifying products and describing techniques. "<p>I highly recommend Custom Stone By Frank.  Small family run company, easy to work with, accommodated my work schedule.  Frank came to template the counters on a Tuesday and installed the next Monday.   They removed the old kitchen counters, windowsill  and backsplash, disconnected (unscrewed) the sink, and  replaced my kitchen counters, backsplash and windowsill with granite counters.  Gave me a new sink too.   I had looked around at several granite yards before I found Custom Stone.  I had an idea of what colors I wanted. Trish took me out to look at their granite selection.  Found just what I wanted.  It was a small job (@38 square feet) in a 65 year old house.    The install went well.  Replacing anything in an older home leads to surprises.   There was a problem with fitting the windowsill.  They recut it and came back to install it.   No muss, no fuss.   I had lined up a plumber who came that afternoon to connect the sink and put in a new faucet.   No downtime in the kitchen ? I couldn?t have asked for anything more.  Great work for a good price. </p> <br />"
