Get matched with top wood flooring refinish pros in Somersville, CT

"I can not speak highly enough of Alex, Dimitry, and David. They are artists who do an amazing job and charge a very fair price. We have a 1754 house, so nothing is simple. We asked them to refinish the flooring that we had in the great room. I have just completed renovating and wanted to have the 1950's floors refinished. Maybe someday we will put period flooring in, but for now, we just wanted the floor that we have to match the renovation. They blew us away with their quality and attention to detail. Alex was very patient with us and explained the whole process. In three days, our floor went from beat-up to beautiful. We were so impressed with their work, that we had them restore the historical plank floors that we have upstairs in our hallway and in one bedroom. They far exceeded what they did downstairs. I told Alex, my only regret is that we could not take the upstairs floors and bring them downstairs. We will be hiring them for all of our future flooring work."

"They were friendly and professional. Very focused on details and making sure we were satisfied. They were flexible with scheduling and very accommodating. The floors are absolutely beautiful!!! We would readily recommend them to our friends and family!"

"Adequate sweep for rates charged. I can respect the game of upselling additional services/upgrades, but I questioned the necessity ($1K for replacing all the wood stove chimney pipes). At the end of it all, I hired another contractor for a second opinion- who addressed piping issues for minimal cost (basically the price of a sweep)."

"Communication was perfect. John answered every message quickly, explained each step of the refinishing process, and kept us updated every day."

"Better than I could have hoped for. Steve and his team did an incredible job with our hardwood floors refinish. One room had wall to wall carpet that was ripped up and had glue all over the old flooring and they cleaned it up to look flawless. Stairs refinish also perfect. Rates were far better than other quotes I received as well. I would recommend for any floor work 5/5 ."

"Floors came out great. Finished the job fast and professional"

"Lou couldn't have been more professional. He got back to me immediately, and was able to meet me that same day--after work, at my convenience. I was fully prepared to hear the roof was going to need major work, but after checking out the roof, gutter and attic, he found that a piece of plywood had been installed incorrectly and was starting to buckle, causing the shingles to shift. He said none of the shingles had popped, so I didn't have any leaking issues, and suggested bracing the wood from the inside for $125. I didn't get any other estimates after that and we agreed to do the work the next week. He asked me to send him a list of good times, and we were able to make it work this week instead. He showed up exactly on time--again, at my convenience. He performed the work in exactly the time he thought it would take, and the roof looks 100 percent better--I had expected simply that it wouldn't get worse, but it looks amazing. On top of that, he found a minor issue (a nail through a downspout that was leading to the water backup) and removed it and secured the downspout for no extra charge. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him to anyone."

"Excellent. Responsive and careful attention to detail. Offered to come back if any scratches occurred. Recommended against using stain, which saved me money and actually did look far superior"
