"Patio Enclosures was fantastic, the subcontractors that came to do the job were not. However, Patio Enclosures sent two Field Supervisors over to spend and entire day addressing all of our concerns. Overall, their customer service is what made us happy with this project and we absolutely love our 3-season room!"

"For the most part it was a good experience. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. He called back to tell me they were running a special too that helped with my decision. What I didn't like was that he didn't tell me that their windows would not be recessed like the windows being replaced, so I had to spend a few hundred dollars more to get new blinds. Also, I spent a good chunk of change and would've expected a phone call after installation to make sure I was happy with the installation and the windows. The installers were hard working and friendly. They took the time to tell me what they were doing. They did come a little unprepared though. I had molding around the window and they came without a nail gun even though they had one. I let them borrow mine. They also did not come with drop cloths. They had a hard time getting the existing windows out because of the way they were done. So they ended up breaking the glass on each of the windows. The glass went all over the place. My wife found glass in the bed, on the bureau and she stepped on glass cutting her foot. It also scratched up some of my wood flooring. So the clean up could've been better. The windows look good though and work great."

"Dennis is a "good person."  He is honest, on time, works hard, and admits an errors.  His team worked hard, round the clock to meet deadlines, and did everything to our satisfaction.  Remodeling a home is a stressful time.  Dennis was easy to work with.  He hand built a difficult to make island to meet our specs, and was always making suggestions to save us money, alternate ways that he had seen done, and offered alternate ways to make things work.   <br /> He met deadlines regularly and always communicated his whereabouts when he was working on the remodel.  He came in on budget, minus some unexpected setbacks, which, quite frankly, just happens. <br /> Dennis was always available to take calls, pick up items and receive items.   <br /> As a contractor, he is amazing.   As a person, he is honest, reliable, and dependable.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Fitzgerald and Beck came out on a Saturday to help me stop a pouring leak in my house that has been an issue for months. Within 30 minutes they pointed to an issue that the previous company had seen and ignored. Mike Beck recommended a quick fix to sop the leaking during the rain that day and then came back as promised and implemented the final fix. They also revealed the previous company had covered up more issues than they fixed. Fitzgerald and Beck corrected the crappy work from the previous company and now my house is dry..... (We just had a flood warning in Huntsville and it POURED today 8/6/13) -- THANKS Fitzgerald and Beck! <br />"

"The quality of my outdoor kitchen and patio exceeded my own expectations. Clint and his team did a terrific job. They started right when he said he they would and worked diligently through bad weather to complete the project promptly. The workmanship of his team was terrific. I have stamped concrete with a smoke tint that looks better than I imagined. My outdoor kitchen is the envy of my neighbors. We are really enjoying it. In addition to great work Clint is a stand up business man and a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends."

"<p> </p> <p>A car crashed into the front of my brick house at the corner of the double garage. Brick was destroyed at the point of impact. Brick was also cracked across the front of the garage, all the way down the side of the garage and around to the back of the house. The house is over 30 years old and my primary concern was matching the repaired brick and mortar to the rest of the house.</p> <p> </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p> </p> <p>The brick on the house is a mixture of 3 or 4 different bricks. The people at Build With Wilson proposed removing all of the brick from the front, side and back of the garage and save as much as possible of the old brick. The old brick was used on 100% of the front of the house for a guaranteed match. Wilson then used their sources to locate an old brick to mix in with the remaining brick taken from the house. The brick they located matched perfectly and was used to complete the remaining brick work.</p> <p> </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p> </p> <p>They assured me that matching the mortar was not going to be a problem. And they were right. The result was simply beautiful. The brick and mortar work was a perfect match. You cannot tell anything ever happened to my house except that it looks even better than before since the garage doors had to be replaced and the inside of the garage had to be completely re-paneled. In fact, everything looked so good I had them paint the rest of my house a few months later. Again, they did a first rate job.</p> <p> </p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p> </p> <p>To say I was concerned how this was going to turn out when the damage first occurred is a major understatement. Honestly, I didn’t think it could be done without some sign of repair. The people at Wilson understood my concerns and put in the extra effort to make this look right. We couldn’t be happier with their work.</p> <p> <br /> <br /> </p> <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Somerville, AL

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
