The project also included demo and installation of new tiles for the passage outside the bathroom and a new sliding barn door. Unlike other contractors, we had complete freedom in selecting the materials. Dave helped us throughout this tedious process via video calls and texts. Dave also had brilliant ideas and always gave us varying cost effective options for even the tiniest details. He was very transparent and patient with us. There were other limitations within which whoever undertook the job would have to work as well. Most contractors will not touch a project unless they can gut the entire space and start from scratch. From the beginning, Monk's was willing to treat me as a contributing member of the team. I am a very hands on person and always love learning from each trade that contributes to the final project. It must be embarrassing to face criticism from a homeowner, who seems to know more, or care more about things getting done right.
