"I recently had several roofs redone by Reimagine Roofing, and I’m extremely pleased with the results! The process was smooth and professional from start to finish. The team offered creative suggestions and ensured the designs were functional and visually appealing. They provided great material and color options, and I trusted their expertise. The crew was punctual, efficient, and always left the site clean. The roofs look fantastic, significantly boosting the buildings' curb appeal. Reimagine Roofing stayed within my budget while delivering top-quality work and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future projects. "If I could give 10 stars I would! They replaced our entire roof in one day, start to finish. Excellent workers and workmanship. Cleaned up all the mess and took it with them. On time, and they came a distance, Douglas, Az to Benson, Az. Polite and knowledgeable. We highly recommend using them. Even the company office personnel was excellent. If you need any kind of roofing, call the, you will be pleased!"

"Wildcats Roofing was recommended by a friend who used them in 2016 and I was happy to see them still in business. I had other estimates but they were the best price by quite a bit. They did an excellent job and we only have one comment. Because of Covid we were home but no one called to tell me when the tiles were being delivered (before the actual roofing day) and because this was a second story job that was a special truck that needed our help to position correctly. So I would say a little better communication between everyone would have been nice. Otherwise they followed through with the entire job till we were perfectly satisfied and I highly recommend them!"

"I had a really bad hailstorm with 60mph winds hit and expose leaks in my home. This was a Monday night. Jessain was here the next morning, gave me a more than far estimate and the work was completed Thursday. Highly recommended! Very friendly, professional and quick!"

FAQs for metal roofing installation and replacement projects in Sonoita, AZ

Copper roofs can last 100 years or more, so you’re likely never to need another replacement. Regular maintenance, including annual inspections and occasional cleaning, keeps them in top shape. Work with a licensed roofer for any repairs or inspections to be sure the roof stays watertight and performs as expected.

Cleaning a copper roof averages $460, sealing costs an average of $3 per square foot, and broader repairs cost an average of $6,500.While those figures may seem steep compared to simple maintenance, they’re still far less than the cost of a complete replacement. Staying on top of annual cleanings and quick fixes helps keep costs down and allows the roof to reach its 100-year lifespan.

That green hue is a natural patina that forms as copper reacts with air and moisture. In coastal areas, it can appear in five to seven years; in dry regions, it may take up to 14. The patina shields the copper, so letting it develop is perfectly fine. If you prefer the shiny look, you can have a pro apply a clear sealant and recoat it as needed.

You can paint a copper roof, but it will block the natural patina and may shorten the roof’s lifespan. Once paint goes on, future upkeep becomes more involved—you’ll need to scrape and repaint every few years. Most homeowners skip painting and opt for cleaning or a clear sealant to keep the copper looking its best.

Copper holds up well in nearly every climate. In a humid region, it naturally resists fungus, moss, and algae. In snowy or windy areas, it sheds precipitation and stays firmly in place, as long as it’s installed with room to expand and contract. That flexibility helps the roof stay leak-free through temperature swings and harsh weather year after year.
