He was at our site the next day to look at the work required. We aligned on a body of work (which included removing 6 other tree stumps from the property) for a highly competitive price. His team got to work same day to remove the body of the fallen tree. Today they returned to clear and remove all of the stumps. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. "Salesperson came to door, mentioned that he was doing some work down the street and noticed my tree. Gave an estimate and said if you are willing to do it tomorrow when crews are in the neighborhood he could give me a discount. (trying to keep the crews busy). When I checked the license, it showed it was suspended due to workmans comp issues. When they showed me the insurance papers, I called to verify.  It took several phone calls to several persons, but finally found out that the owner had just made a payment that morning and it hadn't been posted yet.  Needless to say, I did not have the tree removed.    Can't impress upon people enought to check licnese and insurance status.
