"They delivered the mulch on time. However they will not put the mulch in the yard, it must be on the driveway. The delivery man informed me that the Owner wouldn't allow it because he had a truck sink in a yard more than likely in a shallow septic system leaching field. I could understand that as long as the homeowner didn't know their own yard. It just made it very difficult for me being a 60+ year old to shovel it onto a wheelbarrow and get it across the yard. Other than that, the mulch is of excellent quality and lasted quite a long time."

"Jose Correia is a consummate professional. He and his team worked tirelessly in the spring of 2021 to remove my old faded lawn. Although I had some irrigation system issues once the lawn was reseeded, Jose stuck with the project throughout the summer. He carefully cut the grass and did all of the other necessary services that made my lawn look respectable. In the fall of 2021, he dug up the front lawn where the weeds had taken over, aerated the soil, receded the lawn, and fertilized it. In two weeks, I had the beginnings of a spectacular lawn. To this day, I smile every time I walk outside; it looks that good. Jose was patient and knew that the duration of his efforts would pay off in the long run. He made numerous calls to my house to help set up this work which was a gift to my daughter and her new husband. They were away on their honeymoon and we wanted to surprise them with a clean yard upon their return. They were thrilled! Mr. Marks price was reasonable, he accepted a check sent in the mail from a stranger. His trust is exceptional. What a pleasure to work with someone so accommodating and capable. "Let me start off by stating there was a lot of mis-communication on both sides.  I purchase the contractor for 4 hours through angieslist.  No one came to access the work prior to the job.  Once they arrived for the job, they stated that they were not able to perform the job that I had requested.  They walked off the job stating that they would be back the next day to work on a compromise.  I called into work for the second straight day with no one arriving to work on the job.
I called the company and was told that I needed to call my roofing company first.  This is where my mis-communication came into play.  We discussed another compromise of the work needed to be done and scheduled it for the end of that week.  The agreement was 16 man hours for two workers at a rate of 75 an hour.  I agreed to this for a total cost of 900 in addition to the 350 purchased through angieslist.  For two days worth of work, I felt that this was fair.
On Friday, I received a call stating that their truck had broken down.  Fully understandable, things like this happen.  I rescheduled the work for Monday 8/18 at 8am.  I needed to go to work that day, but fortunately my wife didn't need to leave until 8:30, so she was willing to discuss the work and materials that we purchased for the job.  Upon my break around noon, I checked my phone and had a voicemail stating that they were on their way.  The message was at 9:15.  My wife and I planned for this possibility, so we left directions on the front door and materials on the front porch.
I arrived back and was encouraged with the progress.  They took it upon themselves to finish underneath the softfits, which was not discussed prior.  However, the job was to sand and treat the high trim.  Meaning, filling in holes and cracks before applying the stain.  There are still nails sticking out of the high trim.  There are spots missing stain.  There is stain on my roof shingles, and I found cigarette butts around my lawn for about two weeks.  The owner of the company stated that it was hard work.  They finished roughly around 5 pm on 8/18 for a total amount of time of 7 two man hours.  The owner said that they hauled and the job would still be 900.  That would be fine if the work was done better not halfheartedly.  My favorite part of this was the end after he had my check, he said they do all kind of work and how they take pride in doing it well.  If this is what they consider as a job well done, I am all set with this company.
