"The job was to level and seed the front lawn. Mother Nature can sometimes be a bit*h. The original topsoil has some interesting seeds in it. As promised, TICE came back in late August, killed everything on the front lawn, seeded and fertilized it and just came back to give it a feeding. It looks TERRIFIC. BETTER than I could have hoped. These people are pros.. Leave 'em alone and let them do THEIR job. Don't try to second guess them. You'll like the results."

Charlie, John and Kyle are the BEST!!! We have used their service several times in the past. We are very fussy about our property and the contractors we choose to work on it. We are so glad we found Tree Masters of Tolland. By the way, don't get fooled by any other companies by the name of Tree Masters. There are other companies named Tree Masters, who are NOT the same. Matt does not work for Tree Masters of Tolland. He is not associated with them AT ALL so be careful and hire Tree Masters of Tolland. When you call (860-655-1336) ask for John or Charlie to make sure you have the right company. Charlie, John and Kyle are hard working, honest, conscientious guys who give a very fair price and work until the job is done to your satisfaction. They leave the job site very clean and are very conscious of your landscaping. We can't say enough good things about them! They are and will be the only tree service we will use. "The job was to clear out most of the old plantings in a landscape bed with a mini-excavator; repair the boulder wall that supported the bed; and install new plants per their design proposal. Everything went to plan. They were a six man crew that focused on the job and finished in about 6 hours -- including repairing the yard area where the mini-excavator was operating. Will definitely use them again!"

"The linings were installed but holes for downspouts were not cut fully, resulting in gutters that clogged immediately, overflowed and negated any protective benefit the linings were to provide for the wood underneath. Additionally, some linings were installed without sealing the endcaps; In particular, there was one sill which had a small amount of rot, but the spread of that rot was accelerated by the lack of a lining endcap. The extent of the carpentry work needed is now much more than before.

I tried to contact the contractor more than once to discuss the problem, and the one time I got through he indicated he would come by to check the job but never did. It's just as well, however, since I've now decided that I probably don't want him causing any more damage to my property."
