"once the work was completed the drain worked fine. but it was a real pain to get them to appear at home. firstly, the original appointed time was not kept because plumber forgot. a new time was set but he did not appear. then he said he would send someone else. we waited again for the new plumber to come. we waited for quite some time before someone finally appeared. i can understand that these people could be very busy, but a little courtesy and respect for our time would have been appreciated. a phone call is so easy make to update us on ETA. it was a good thing there was someone at home to let them in. after he had assessed what needed to be done, he said he would be back the next day at an appointed hour. he did come back the following day as he had said and completed the job."

"All of the repairs and installations were done in a timely and professional manner. The crew of two arrived on time and reviewed each of the projects that I needed to have done. After determining that the faucet needed some new O-rings and a new piece of fascia was required, one went and got the parts while the other performed the kitchen faucet removal and installation. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
