"I wanted a shower expanded. George Mavridis's estimate was very competitive but I hired him because I knew he was honest, quality focused and an open communicator. He has a small crew and excellent subs so he's not super fast. But Mavridis is excellent. One example: The shower needed a new fan, vented through the attic roof. The attic boards were all cut (before my time) in half when insulation was installed. The attic floor was unstable and unsafe. George was very busy but he had his team replace the boards with plywood panels...for 20% less than I expected. Why? Because he wanted to make sure I would be happy when the job was done. I could give 4-5 other examples but you get the point. If you hire George, you'll be pleased."

"We hired Altitude Builders to replace an existing deck that was old and rotting. After vetting out several contractors to decide between composite or pressure treated wood, we found Eli to be professional, straightforward and reasonable when it came to our ideas on what we wanted in a deck. His timeline and pricing was the best. He presented us with all requested documentation (contractor license, insurance, and contract) and started on the day he stated. Project went slightly longer because we needed additional footings and extension beyond the original scope of work. At the end of each day, the site was clean and nothing was left out of place. My deck is solid, sturdy and beautiful! His workmanship and professionalism were wonderful. We will be using Altitude builders again for additional work in the near future. Highly Recommended!"

"Nice owner, hack job crew. Hired to replace siding and trim. Manager of the project was fired a few times during work and it really shows. So many small details are either unfinished or poorly done. Amateur cuts on the trim left gaps and old trim was not prep for paint or just left unpainted. They also smeared silicone to cover screws on the front face of the shingles, the whole house looks like it's covered in bird droppings. Plus they also damaged the roof and electrical boxes. Who knows what other things they skipped on, left me with a time bomb of problems that will takes years to show. I would not recommend. "

"My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. If I need any building projects in the future I will definitely have Fiske Contruction do the work.
