Diagnosed the issue and determined it was not an applicance issue but a wiring issue from an improper installation when the appliance was purchased. Could have easily mis diagnosed and performed a "bogus" repair, instead explained his findings and recommended we contact an electrician that specialized in the type of repair that was necessary. His diagnosis was correct and the electrician corrected the problem inline with the diagnosis made by the appliance repair technician. In the end, I hired a Maytag certified repair person who finally properly diagnosed the drying problem and fixed it.
