"Great. These guys know their work. I inherited a lot of Hokey wiring with my purchase of a home that was originally built in 1918 and haphazardly remodeled several times since then. Gentec helped me re-wire the entire Kitchen, sort out a LOT of problems with random hot wires lying around in my crawl space (???) and recently helped me connect a 240V point-of-use water heater. They're always on time, and the work is always well done. While the service tech was out for the POU water heater he finished the install fast enough that we were also able to hire him to install a ceiling fan (that I'm now glad I didn't try to install myself) in the amount of time allotted for the water heater hook-up. I highly recommend these guys, they do very good work."

I am satisfied with the Livewatch Security equipment, it is simple to use and expandable with home automation but I haven't tried any of that yet. I am very happy with the website and app that are available for controlling the system. I think the monthly monitoring fee is a little high given that the equipment isn't completely subsidized in the price."

"This is an update to an update. I've had Simplisafe for about 4 1/2 years, and it wasn't working well for us. We had trouble getting the components to communicate. We had false alarms. The customer support was okay - I think they tried, but for whatever reason, the system just didn't work well in my home. Someone from Simplisafe offered to replace the system, and so far it seems to be working well. I'm curious to see if we have any problems with the motion sensors. I previously changed the sensitivity to "low" to make sure we didn't trigger false alarms, but for now, I'm leaving the new ones at the default setting. I greatly appreciate the customer service and them reaching out to me. After spending $500 on the components and countless hours fiddling with the system, I'm hopeful that it will work without much effort on my part now. Taking down the old system and setting up the new one took about 2 1/2 hours and was fairly easy."
