"Pete (the owner) and his roofing crew (Genaro, Alberto, Pedro) were great! Pete replied promptly to my initial inquiry and came out right away to look at the roof. Following that, it took somewhat longer than I had hoped to get an initial bid and to actually start the job, but his bid turned out to be lower than the others, and I could see that the delay was for the right reason -- Pete always prioritizes the roof he's already working on to make sure it's done well and as quickly as possible, so a house doesn't stay unprotected for longer than necessary. Once they finally finished earlier projects and started working on our roof, they were 100% on task from start to finish. They are a small company and ours was a complex, 4000+ square foot roof that required ordering special materials along the way, so it took about a month to complete the job with 3 guys working 40 hours per week. However, I really appreciated the way they always started promptly on time each day and worked closely with my wife and I throughout the entire process to make sure work was being done exactly as we (and the City's historic rules) needed it done. Pete and his crew were friendly and very accommodating of special requests related to the historic peculiarities of our house, skylights, neighbor's concerns about parking, etc. Many parts of the roof required creative, on-the-fly problem solving, due to the non-standard construction of our 1800's house. Genaro, especially, was great at innovative problem solving and did beautiful work, but everyone on the team was super dedicated, hard working, and skilled. "SkyBlue Builders Performs Quality Work SkyBlue Builders is a Five Star High Quality Siding Construction Company, and I recommend them. My thirty-year- old home is in a rural environment. with a humid atmosphere. The siding on my home was worn by the salt air and moisture and needed replacement from the eaves all the way to the foundation. I chose SkyBlue for three main reasons: 1. Siding is all they do, and they have specialized in it for 19 years. 2. They are rated A+ by the BBB and have had no complaints regarding their work. 3. I viewed online photos of their previous jobs and was impressed by the quality of their work. My experience with SkyBlue was positive from beginning to end. Every day they showed up at 8 A.M. and worked until 4 P.M. when they began cleanup. Every day they put away their tools and cleaned up the work area. At the end of every day they made sure that my driveway was clear, so I could pull my car out of the garage.
