He made it easy to shop for the necessary materials so I could pick out the doors and get other supplies in one trip. The project was completed in a timely manner despite the rain and an issue with one of the materials (bad/old product from hardware store) I had picked up. "I needed a new electric garage door mechanism. I received my quote quickly and we scheduled the date and time for installation. The installer did not arrive on time, but called to let me know that he was tied up a bit on the first job and would arrive as soon as he could. He came and did a great job of installing the opener and clearly explained the features and showed me how to use them. "Overhead Door sent out a representative within 2-3 days of contacting them for an estimate. The representative was knowledgeable, very friendly and also saved us money by suggesting that we keep our existing garage door hardware, track and remote, as they were still in good working condition. I went to the Overhead Door facility on Riverside St./Portland to see the doors available in their showroom. They required a deposit to order the doors. Approximately 6 weeks later, the installation took place. They removed the 2 doors, repaired the existing tracks (now the tracks work better and look much sleeker) installed the new doors, re-programmed our existing car remotes, and walked us through the work that he had completed. I strongly recommend this company.

"Skip and his son Jonah did all the work over a period of a few weeks, due to inclement weather. I cannot speak highly enough of how good they were, I would hire back again in a heartbeat. Hard working, very friendly and professional in every way. On the back sliding glass door, Skip noticed that the screen did not close properly and there was a flaw on the hardware of the door which needs to be replaced. I believe Andrea in their office has ordered said items and we are now waiting to hear when they will be fitted."
