The date proposed was mid October but the actual work was much sooner (low slope roof) and completed in several hours The roof has now gone through several seasons without issue. "Selection of this contractor went smoothly from start to finish. Estimate was considerably less than another contractor using the same CertainTeed roofing system. I do not select on cost alone. I got quotes from 3 other companies. Normal estimate was using the Landmark Pro shingles, also was given estimate for the Landmark shingles when I mentioned budget constraints and my longevity, I’m a senior citizen. Left me info on the CertainTeed system materials and installation. When I decided on the Landmark did not try to convince me to rethink choosing Landmark Pro. On date of install they arrived around 7:15 but said they wouldn’t begin work until 8 so not to disturb neighbors. Considerate, I live in a over 55 development. They worked quickly and professionally, first hanging tarps to collect debris and stripping roof. Crew moved along quickly. Needed to replace some decking around vents,which they did at no up charge. Owner, Luis Castro, stopped by from another job to check work even going up on roof to inspect. Left me his card and told me to call with questions or concerns. Cleanup was amazing. Left my property as if they never were here! This was one concern as other roofer,s doing work in neighborhood have left blown debris and nails in street. They did not. Debris that was wind blown into neighbors yard was retrieved. Also in quote was to reroof shed and install gutters and downspouts at front of house. Shingles were underestimated including shed so they applied the DiamondDeck underlayment and drip edge and were back next non rain day to finish shed. I was amazed at the proficiency and speed work was completed. I highly recommend this company and already have to a neighbor. Very professional, supervisor answered any questions I asked, courteous and treated my job as if it was their own. Crew was very proficient. Owner should be proud. I was satisfied with all aspects of project."

"Andy picked up right away when I called to ask if he could take a look at my roof which had developed a tiny leak the night before. He said he could come out the very same day. When he arrived a few hours later he told me the roof was in good shape and should last another 7 years or so (the roof is 20 years old). The leak was being caused by a pipe boot which had deteriorated. He told me he'd get back to me later in the day with an estimate to replace the boots as well as to clean moss which had grown in a few areas. He ended up calling back a few hours later to say he could come out and replace the boots in an hour (he could schedule the roof cleaning within the next few weeks). So by the end of the day on the day I called he made the repair. He carefully explained what had to be done and how to do it properly and thought to use extra shingles I had stored in the basement. He was extremely nice, courteous, prompt and professional. He provided top notch service. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I've reached the point where I had no interest in hauling shingles up a ladder on my "free" time. Enter Angieslist. I contacted some 8 roofers or roofing companies with reviews with "A" ratings. Yes I read the reviews. Some sent sales people to sell me on the materials. Some came to look it over. Few actually measured. Dave calls and says he can stop by a Sunday. Perfect. He's the only guy who actually goes up on my roof. I asked all the others. Not one felt the need to. Hmmm. I want to show them my problem areas. I did tell them I built a large part of my house. Nope they'll spitball it. I'm pretty picky about the work I have done. [Engineer by trade]. I also want the guy I talking with to be on site while the work is done. Sending me a salesman is not what I want. I don't care about warranties. Like I'm going to get into a lawsuit with GAF. Use quality, name brand materials and I'm good. I also don't need some college kid or other on my home. So long story short I hire Dave. He does everything and more. On time. Professional. Cleans up every day. I liked him so much that some siding needed replacement and he came back and did that between other jobs. My only gripe is that he's so popular [with good reason] that I had to wait a couple months. Wish he installed driveways..."
