"We hired Rafael and his crew to install unfinished hardwood throughout our entire house and 2 sets of stairs, as well as on-site refinishing of the entire house. We had a very tight timeline, but from the beginning I knew I could trust Rafael to get it done, and to do it well. Rafael was very polite, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and provided a very detailed estimate including a breakdown of the labor and materials. While some contractors swag the amount up front and then constantly increase it as the job goes on, that wasn't the case with Rafael. I always knew what to expect, because he was very transparent. He even took it upon himself to shop around to find the best price for us on the wood, saving us a lot of money. Rafael went above and beyond to get the job completed on time. He also kept us updated on the progress of installation, answered all of my questions (I had a lot), and was a true professional every step of the way. He was flexible and understanding when we ran into some scheduling issues with our other contractors. His crew was also wonderful to work with - very friendly, kind, and hard-working.
