"I'm writing this review for my 84 year-old grandfather. I really do appreciate the service done by this company. Some shingles had blown off the roof of his home during a rainstorm. Otherwise the roof was in pretty good shape. I know that many companies could have taken advantage of my elderly grandfather and recommended an entire roof replacement. But the gentleman that came out was so honest and straightforward. He agreed that a repair was all that was needed. And the price was excellent compared to some of the other ones we had called around to get. I appreciate this companies honesty and professionalism. His roof is as good as new. I would recommend them to anyone I know."

"Home Genius Exteriors is amazing! I have been impressed throughout the whole process with their high level of professionalism and depth of expertise. Every person I have met throughout my project has been a dream! I honestly believe they care as much about my home and doing what is best for me and my family as I do. I highly recommend! Long story about my incredible experience so far below: Our roof and siding were older, losing grit and fading, and we had lost some shingles in a storm. After having another company out that was okay/average, I did some research and read a ton of reviews. Home Genius Exteriors really stood out from the rest, so we decided to setup an appointment. Our Home Remodeling Expert was named John and he was the best! He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home inside and out (including using a drone). He even went up into our attic mid-summer to see what was going on under the roof. He then took us though all of the photos and videos and explained what was happening. He also listened to what we were hoping to improve. He provided multiple options and recommendations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Next thing I knew we were creating models of our actual home and toggling between different colors, styles, materials, etc. John was extremely patient as it took a while for us to get it dialed in just right. He wrote up our project, helped to find some discounts and areas we could save money to stay within our budget without compromising the end result we were now in love with. We decided to get a roof, siding, windows, patio door, and gutter replacement to completely makeover and modernize our home. The next day we were contacted by our Home Genius project coordinators Tiffany and Beth to schedule our roof install and to have a technician out to remeasure and confirm our windows/patio door order. I figured it would be a while to get on the schedule...They blew me away. Measurement appointment tomorrow and roof install the next day! Our measurement technician was named Frank and he arrived on time, took off his shoes without being asked (love that), and his attention to detail was impeccable. He even went as far as to reconfirm our order and to walk us through what to expect with the windows and patio door install. That afternoon Brandon, our Home Genius Project Manager for the roof install, called to introduce himself and provide a detailed timeline for the day of the install and to see if we had any questions. He also informed us when the dumpster and materials would arrive that evening. The next morning Brandon and the roofing installation crew showed up at 7:00 and began prepping our home, including hanging tarps from the roof to protect our landscaping and even moving all of our deck & patio furniture out into the yard for protection. Then the work really started - the crew was incredibly fast and efficient! They had all of the old roof off in less than 3hrs. By lunch they were done laying the new underlayment and starting to put on shingles. They worked non-stop. The roof was finished by 8:00 and what I really appreciate, is they spent almost an hour cleaning up the jobsite and even using magnets to make sure no nails were left behind in the grass or landscaping. Brandon was terrific throughout the project. He provided detailed explanations of what was happening, provided updates on timing and progress, answered all of our questions, and made sure that the installation was perfect. He even came by the next day to do a second final walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed since it was getting dark the night before. Roof looks amazing and we could not be happier! Can not wait for the next stages of our home transformation!"

"it took these guys less than 4 hours to rip off 2 layers, replace a bunch of plywood and cut in a ridge vent along with adding some other vents across the back and slap on the new shingles. "Having just moved into my home and also from my home inspector's recommendation, I wanted to have the chimney inspected and cleaned.  After contacting several chimney sweeps on Angie's List, I decided to go with A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper because of the company ratings, the price estimate was good, and I talked with the person who would actually do the work.  Lee actually came over on the wrong day, but apologized and agreed to come back the next day at our agreed data/time.  Lee showed up on time and was very professional.  Upon his initial inspection of the inside of the chimney, he realized that the chimney did not need to be cleaned, as it didn't appear to be used very much.  After his external inspection, he did recommend getting a new chase pan for the chimney.  The existing one was a 'builder's special' that after 19 years has seen better days.  We did notice water coming into the chimney area indicating some leakage from the chase pan.  Our home inspector also indicated water pooling in that area and took several photos of it.  We agreed to get the chase pan replaced and Lee didn't charge us for the cleaning visit.  Lee and his brother Frank came out in late August to take measurements for the new chase pan.  They have them custom-made by another company.  They were going to remove the old chase pan to bring to the company but decided to rely on Frank's measurements.  They returned later in the week to remove the old chase pan and install the new one.  It took several hours to complete the work.  Overall, they were very focused on doing the job right - making sure that everything was cleaned up, properly installed and sealed from weather.  All the time that they worked, they were doing the 'little things' that make for quality work (like re-nailing some popped nails after they borrowed my hammer).  After the work was completed, I felt like I won't have to worry about any issues with the chase pan for a long time.  And on top of that, they gave me a 20 year warranty on the chase pan.  If you want quality work at a fair price,  I would highly recommend A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper.

"It went great, it was a messy job because it involved removing the old, nasty insulation, but the guys did their best containing the mess. The attic is very difficult to work in due to the low ceiling and they did a great job, no cracks in the ceiling or anything. I also ended up with a "super deck" which is a platform with foam underneath giving me some more storage space that I desperately needed. I can see now that my neighbors house has icicles (which can signal an impending ice dam), and I have none. I gave a B for price because this is an expensive job, I don't believe you can get it for significantly cheaper, but the quality of the job, comfort, and properly functioning attic space are definitely worth it."

"Lucas came out as promised the next day. He was thorough, professional and friendly, and I appreciated that he responded when others would not. Despite the inclement weather, he climbed onto the roof and checked everything out. After his inspection he took the time to explain exactly what we were dealing with. We will be needing a new roof once the winter weather leaves our area. But when we are ready to have one installed, this time I won't be searching for a roofing contractor. I now have one. . Lucas will get the job!"

"We had some shingles that had blown off on the back bay of our house that we needed repaired. I requested a quote from 6 companies that I found on Angies List, the majority I never heard from. Derek, the owner of Prime Square Construction, contacted me almost immediately and gave me a quote based on the photo I sent. He said he could be out the next day to do the work. He was timely, professional and honest. I could tell that he is very passionate about his work. In addition to the repair of the shingles on the back bay, Derek inspected the entire roof and repaired a cap that had a crack in it, this was above and beyond. I would definitely recommend Prime Square Construction for your roofing needs."

"The actual roof looks lovely and stopped all my previous issues. However, I experienced damage to interior walls due to the long term (3 weeks) storage of all my shingles on one side of my ridge. I was told it would be repaired, but we are five months later with no timeline on that project. The cleanup looked good on the surface, but I found lots of roofing debris and cigarettes in my landscaping. I also stepped on a couple nails which thankfully just took out a pair of sneakers and caused no injuries. Overall, the work done looks great and Im not experiencing issues five months into the install. However, I did not feel like my experience was all it could have been based on the numerous positive reviews I read before hiring Element Roofing. *Be aware my work was done in the summer, during a pandemic. Weather and illness aside, the damage to my walls could have been prevented with better communication and better organization of delivery versus start day of this project, which is the only reason I was frustrated."
