"Had a lot of stuff that had built up over time in both places. Got rid of all the yard waste (and old kids gym thing) from the back yard as well as a bunch of random clutter from down in the basement. Took only about 2 hours for both and I was happy with the price. Overall, very well done and would recommend to anyone in need of some help."

"They were prompt and completed the job timely in April 2017. We then had the driveway professionally sealed in June 2017 as they recommended. The problem is the concrete is now badly scaling. I called them twice to explain the situation and they said they would send someone to look at the problem. It's been over two months and no one has contacted me and no one ever came to see the condition of the concrete. I also sent an email to Omnipro through this site one month ago, and again no one responded. Very disappointed. I will only hire them for future work if they will demonstrate appropriate follow-up and resolution."

"Overall, well. They did what they promised and we were able to work through unexpected issues easily. The crew is a bit noisy and works better when Rick is there. They do understand concrete and our driveway (a very big project) is the talk of the neighborhood. Ran into an issue where the driveway connects to a detached garage and Rick's solution was a good one, completing the job. Nice job sloping the concrete to move water away from the house."

"Steve was thorough in his discussions about the project. I'm usually pretty detailed about projects and think things through. Steve would bring things up that I hadn't thought of and my wife and I appreciated the time he took. He also considered that there were several options for our design to choose from and he walked us through the pros and cons. For example, the way that lights would be spaced on our wall between windows and doors was not technically even, but looked good given the spacing of those openings. Also, he showed us a couple of options for the size and spacing of slats for our roof vent so we could preview it before it was created.
Steve does not run a big company, so you get really personalized service. He is part of the projects as they happen. This also means that his availability to do projects varies. But, he is proactive about his availability and once he starts a job he and his team are on-site until it's finished.
This was our second or third project with him. At the beginning, he installed a sliding door and a pair of doors with sidelights that open onto our patio. These were installed about five years ago and we love them. In fact, he has done almost all the outside work on our house over the last five years, including unanticipated problem areas. Would highly recommend Steve for a job."

"I had a salesperson come out from Doing It Right. They arrived right on time, asked what work I wanted done, etc, and walked around the house for a bit and told me that they would be right back in. Note that they never actually went up on the roof - unlike several other contractors that I've had out between this and my garage project. The salesperson said that their insurance company wouldn't cover them if they had an accident without having a contract. This was kind of surprising to me, and quite honestly felt either like a lie or like they have a crappy insurance policy. Then I sat down and we went over a very detailed contract about everything that would be done. I very much appreciated the detail in the contract, outlining exactly what work would be performed and to what specifications. Some items would be marked N/A, or there might be options that could be checked, such as a california cut/weave valley vs aluminum open cut, etc. I was also showed the really cool software they use to calculate the roof size using satellite imagery and such. They went on and on about their Platinum Preferred status with Owens Corning, giving quite the sales pitch. I was waiting to see how huge the final bid amount was going to be. To my surprise, it wasn't. Actually, it was about *half* the bid amount of another roofer. Well, this all sounded great. I was, of course, skeptical so I read through the contract in more detail. There were a lot of oddities - for instance, they say "california weave" for valleys, but by all accounts online, valleys can either be a "weave" a "cut", a "california cut", or an open valley with a metal channel. So when they say "california weave" it kinda felt like they're leaving open space for if their sub-contractors screw up and do a weave rather than the proper cut. Also, it seems the general consensus is that the metal channel is more durable and doesn't get debris - so that would cost an additional $200. They couldn't give me clear up-front pricing on how much it would cost to paint/patch/fix the box gutters, if required (again, they didn't go on the roof), so who knows what that could end up costing. I asked some detailed follow-up questions about permits, dumpsters, employee vs sub-contracting, gutters, wood replacement, etc. And when they responded, they told me that my job was going to be too small, under their minimum 10-square size unless I also had them do the porch roof as well. Of course, this would add another $1300 to the cost. Odd that even with their fancy roofing calculating software that they never noticed it was under the 10-square minimum. I had a couple more followup questions, and at this point they got back to me and basically cancelled and said that they weren't the right company, that they don't like to come out to do small city jobs, and had a bunch of excuses. I was super frustrated, because I was leaning towards this company and had spent a decent amount of time researching them, communicating, etc, and it was for nothing. At the end of the day, I suspect that either the salesperson bid too low for the job and they didn't admit it, or that they didn't actually have the confidence that they could do the job right due to what I think are extremely basic minor roofing complexities such as framing and maintaining box gutters (which are very common in Pittsburgh). It's a bummer, but luckily there are other competent contractors to pick between as well - perhaps with a bit more honesty and ability to stick to their bids."

"We just moved into our home in Oct. 2015. Since that first weekend living there we realized we had a plumbing issue. We contacted our warranty co. and they sent out a plumber. He cleaned out the pipes outside as best as he could but would not go inside and see if there was any problem under the house. So we called a different plumber who came out and did some minimal work from inside but did not resolve the issue. During this time we filed a claim with our insurance co. They wouldn't do anything for us b/c the word "roots" was involved. Again our issue was still there and water was leaking all over our house. Under the kitchen cabinets when running the washing machine and would also leak as far as into the dining room carpet. While taking any shower the water would come up from the floor under the tub where the drain goes into the floor and was leaking all under the tub and reaching as far as our bedroom into our carpet and on the bathroom floor. When it rained water would appear in our duct work and sit there for days until it evaporated. We were at a total loss as to what to do other than to go after the seller. During this time I decided that we needed to stop showering b/c the water was going everywhere and causing more problems. We contacted our warranty co. again and they sent out another plumber and again he did nothing for us to resolve the issue. At the end of January I ran into a friend at church who had just started working with this company and told her what we were experiencing. She told me that they could help and to get her all the information I could on the situation. I am so thankful I did!! Mark and Gary were at our door step the very next evening. Camera in hand and ready to resolve the issue for us. AND they did!!! They determined that it wasn't roots it was a sewage clog and had nothing to do with roots. Because of them we are no longer having issues with our pipes and are in the process of getting our house back in order with the renovation process with the insurance co. I can't thank Mark and Gary enough for what they have done for us during this whole process!!"
