"The team from phone call to installation of a gas heater was a good experience for us. The installation team was very pleasant, polite, effiicient with their timing, installing, explaining, and courteous. Our heater went out over the New Year, and we were without heat for 3 1/2 days. "I called Ryan because my 15 year old furnace was not functioning. The heat exchangers had pinholes and the secondary exchanger was completely rusted out and clogged. Ryan did his absolute best to come up with the best solution for the least amount of cost to me. In the end the resolution ended up being a new furnace unit. This gentleman is transparent and honest. He took the time to explain to me why I needed a new furnace. He had the opportunity to cobble my old one together and charge me for labor, but his integrity shined through and he let me know it's not safe, and he's not comfortable doing that. I also took the opportunity to have him install a 4" filter box to prevent future system issues due to the awful 1" filter location. I will 100% call Ryan again in the future. "Beware of what you're paying for with Neerings. Paying $500 for a $30 thermocouple that takes less than 10 minutes to install just doesn't seem ethical to me. I know this because I had this same thermocouple replaced last year by Neerings and I put up stink last year when they charged me $500 for work that took about 5 minutes and a $10-$30 standard thermocouple. I work with Neurologist every day who are dealing with serious health issues and they may get paid between $175 hr to $300 hr. I have other examples but this is the most recent. The single star is for the service people and customer service agent, they do know what they're doing and are kind representatives. This said, who ever is responsible for Neering's pricing is without shame and gouging people without regard."

"YES HVAC scammed me out of $2,500. When I had my furnace & air conditioner replaced last year, YES failed to mention that Carrier (both my heater & AC were Carrier brands) was running a promotion that if you replaced both a furnace & an AC system with Carrier products, they would give you a cash rebate of $2,500. YES HVAC simply did not inform me of the company rebate program; instead, they just took the money from me without my knowledge. I eventually found out about the rebate later when I replaced the second full system in our house. Obviously I went with another more transparent/honest company the second go around. When I discussed the situation with YES management (even providing them with the written proof from Carrier Company of the rebate program), I still have heard nothing further from YES. My suggestion is to go with the competition rather than YES HVAC; it cost me a $2,500 rebate, what will they scam you out of?"
