"J&G was a little above the average price for the quotes I received however I took an instant liking to Joe Mayes and put my faith in him. I also paid a little more because I was in a hurry and they completed the job weeks before anyone else would even start. Workmanship was good overall, about 8.5 on 1-10 scale with no problems that required a call back. J&G did not require a deposit and did not collect until the work was done, although Joe said he has been cheated some recently and might need to start requiring a good faith deposit. If I had any concern it would be that the job specs and warranty were not written into a contract. In fact we had no more than a handshake and estimate that I was not even asked to sign. I am happy with the fence and I would hire J&G again."
