"Had a complete resurface done on the pool to include new skimmers and paramount valves upgraded. By the end of the job I paid in full with 2 items still needed. I have called and left approximately 10 messages with not a single reply. My recommendation, while Jeremy is easy to work with, Hold back some payment if everything is not correct. My cleaning system does not work due to installation. I have about 1/2 in of water that it will perform. There was so many issues during the installation and simply just seemed to rush the job. I really like working with Jeremy but I would never again trust his word. Photo 1 - never replaced cover as he said he would. Photo 2 - install too low. Water fills up and valves don?t function properly until pool level drops to about 1 inch onto tile, resulting in approx 1 inch of depth variance or skimmers don?t work. Photo 3 - busted side in existing skimmer never replaced. Photo 4 - pool valve system has never worked since system upgraded. Disappoints"

"I will never recommend anyone use this company! Jay had our new gunite pool completed June 2024 in September 2024 I noticed a hole in the pool. He keeps promising to fix it and here we are 1 and a half years later with this hole. Last year I purchased a cover for the pool and I have withheld the last $500 payment in hope of him getting this hole fixed and the hole still remains. Just a warning so no one else goes through what I have had to deal with. We also had the capping and whole slab of concrete pull up last winter that he tried to play the card that none of this is under warranty, less than a year and we had two issues with the structure of the pool. You can see from the texts how unreliable this guy is and we still have a hole on our pool!!! Unacceptable. You have been warned! We have not heard anything from Jay in months that is why I finally decided to warn anyone considering hiring this company for a new pool install. He doesnt care about quality only getting money for his m"

FAQs for swimming pool covers installation and replacement projects in Sperry, OK

The lifespan of automatic pool covers varies by component. Cover fabrics require replacement every five to six years, costing between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on size and material quality. Mechanical elements like motors function for five to ten years before needing replacement at $450 plus labor. The tracking system and housing unit can last considerably longer with proper care. Scheduling professional maintenance one to three times yearly at $150 to $200 per service helps maximize the operational life of all components.

While automatic covers require a larger initial investment, they provide significant advantages that often justify the premium. The convenience of one-touch operation encourages more consistent use, maximizing energy savings that can reach 50% to 70% on heating costs. The enhanced safety features, reduced chemical requirements, and decreased water evaporation deliver ongoing operational savings. These benefits outweigh the higher upfront expense for households that use their pools frequently.

Most existing pools can be retrofitted with automatic covers, though rectangular shapes accommodate them more easily than custom configurations. On-deck track systems offer the most straightforward installation for existing pools since they require minimal structural modifications. Recessed track systems necessitate more substantial deck alterations but provide a cleaner appearance. A professional assessment is essential to determine which system best suits your pool's specific layout and structural characteristics.

Proper maintenance includes promptly removing standing water and debris to prevent excessive weight on the cover. Use manufacturer-approved cleaning solutions for periodic washing according to recommended guidelines. Keep tracks clear of dirt and obstructions that could cause alignment problems or motor strain. Professional servicing one to three times yearly allows technicians to inspect mechanical components, lubricate moving parts, and make necessary adjustments before minor issues develop into major problems requiring costly repairs.
