They re-did some lights that failed, and replaced some lights that didn't look very right on the first install, but that was more my fault than theirs for not selecting the right lights. Overall they did the re-work without complaint and offered to do it for no additional cost. Very customer oriented."

"Install was simple and took a modest amount of time. Still need to install an outlet in a cabinet to hide the power cord for the keypad. The alarm is loud, but not audible outside the house. Consider an add-on unit if you want to alert the neighbors. Signal range is less than ideal for some window sensors; a repeater (most any 2gig module that is hardwired) of some sort will likely help. Motion sensors are cheap looking and do not inspire confidence. Tech support answered quickly and walked me through a technical question about adding a second keypad to the system. Cellular communications are far superior to ADT system at previous house. I do not like the contract renewal clause."

"I received the system on time, set up was fairly easy. Activation support was superb and in the month since the alarm was activated it has worked flawlessly. I like the fact that I can check, arm and disarm the system remotely. I receive a text very quickly every time the alarm is armed or disarmed. There is a monthly fee of $39.99 and the basic cost of the kit was $99.00, a motion detector, panel, camera equipped motion detector, 4 door alarms, a panic button key fob, stickers and signs."

"I bought an Ameristar (Chinese version of Goodman) AC unit and furnace from them. It went well. The outside unit had some cosmetic damage but they gave me a discount. (I told them we could either replace the cosmetic panels or a discount, I didn't care which) The work was done well enough for my technician's eye, but they weren't white glove service. (Of course I wasn't paying white glove prices either.) There were a few things they could have done better, but those things were mostly cosmetic and will be unlikely to impact the function of the unit. They did not have a problem with me being nosey and asking lots of questions, which to me is always a good sign. In the end I feel I got what I paid for and I am happy. :) I will probably call them back for service, if I remember to do service."

"It went fine and the system works well. I did recommend GuardMe to a neighbor, who signed up for it, and it works fine for them, as far as I know. However, I think these alarm services are pretty much the same and I would advise people to call around for prices. The installation is one thing, but be careful about the monthly fees, which can be high to cover the cost of the equipment. After my contract expired, I was able to negotiate a monthly fee that is about half what I was paying previously."
