"Apex Masonry went above and beyond in responding to our needs and concerns. James Aguilera provided us a great amount of detail on how Apex would complete the project. He guided us through a painless process from estimate to job completion. The patio was carefully constructed with a durable gravel and sand foundation. The pavers were laid tight and level. The boarder has additional durability with a concrete foundation to prevent shifting. The front stoop looks better than ever! The steps have always been uneven with the first riser at about 3” and the second at about 9”. Peter, the project manager, skillfully demolished part of the first step and the forward edge of the second. The reconstruction resulted in two evenly sized steps. After repointing, the stoop looks incredibly revitalized and new. My wife and I are very pleased with Apex Masonry and highly recommend."

"All of my communication with the provider was via email.  I submitted a request for a price quote around the second week of November and the work was performed on November 25th (the day I'm writing this review).  The provider was very prompt in responding.  I sent them my home address and was sent back a picture of my house and yard to confirm my address.  I explained what I wanted done and they provided a price quote.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I had a preference for the type of mulch I preferred and they accommodated my request.  I revised my work order to cancel the leaf removal because the HOA removed the leaves.  A couple of days afterwards, the leaves were back (at this point, all the leaves had fallen due to strong winds the previous two nights).  I requested that leaf removal be added back to the work order (this request was submitted the morning that the work was scheduled to be completed).  I was hopeful that the request was not too late and learned that they did indeed receive the updated request in time to remove the leaves.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />On the day the work was done, I got home that nigh.  I couldn't see all of the yard except for sections here and there illuminated by street light.  Even though I couldn't see all  of the yard, I could tell that they did a fantastic job.  The fall foliage was completely removed and the mulching gave the flowerbeds and trees such a manicured look.  The bushes were neatly trimmed, including my hydrangea bush.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The work far exceeded my expectations.  I will definitely come back to this company for spring mulching.  My check is going in the mail in the morning. <br />"

"We wanted to replace our old azaleas along the sidewalk to our front porch as well as the entire length of our country porch. Steve was very responsive to my call for an estimate and came out to our house the following day. He was very professional and had brought along a measuring wheel. Noticing that a tree in front of the porch in the grass area had some problems, he suggested we have it and another tree removed, which would provide a whole lot more sunshine for the new azaleas. After the trees were removed, Steve was very prompt to schedule our work. The work crew was 2 1/2 hours late in arriving, due to a problem with the type of azaleas we had ordered, but once they were at the house, they pitched right in with the job. The head guy Mike was awesome....efficient and personable. He provided some good suggestions for placing the old bushes which were to be replanted in the natural grove in front of the house. The job took longer then projected, but the end result was very satisfactory. We will definitely call them for work in the future. The job supervisors were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The estimate was very clear and detailed and the down-payment procedure was easy to do online."

"Elmer designed our new stone patio and plantings to replace a wooden deck off of our screened in porch. Once we agreed on a design and price Elmer took me to choose the stone we would use, including accent stone and lighting. Once this was all done Elmer and his crew arrived and worked non-stop until the project was completed...about 2 weeks. Then in the spring he installed the agreed upon plantings. I must say dealing with Elmer is easy. He is professional, honest, hard working and a great designer. Work was completed on time and within budget...no surprises. I am hiring him again this fall for more planting...he has a great eye for what will work in the yard. Also just a very nice man."
