"I had a flood for the first time in the crawlspace and basement. I called Regional Foundation & Crawlspace Repair to come out. They wanted 27K for crawlspace encapsulation, that was too much and I could do most the work myself. I instead paid them $5,000.00 to bury a geodrain and install a triple safe sump pump system. This is the job they did, they installed the sump pumps at the 3rd to lowest point in the crawlspace and this geodrain goes back and forth from uphill to downhill. The lowest point still allows water to flood downstairs. They also cracked a chunk of my foundation at the point of sump pumps egress. Outside they just threw rocks on ground were the water comes out and can get back into the ground to reenter the crawlspace. They got 1 star because the people were nice, their job was not. Update as of 4/23/2024 they contacted me and said they wanted to make sure everything was good. A Girl and guy came out and noticed a couple things I didn't and said they would fix it that their company does not do work like that. They dug up all the previous geodrain and moved it to walls, tried to level out the drain and changed the location of the pumps and the drain outside. She had a really good work ethic and never took a break. The guy was on the other side of house and think he did good too. Everything they did looked professional and looks like they fixed everything. They had to come back today to finish the work today, but had three of them. It all looks good and they tested everything. They apologized about the old work and were not sure went wrong, but I don't have a negative view of the company now and am satisfied with the work they did. Just nocking one star for the under trained individuals that came the first time, the second crew was great!"

"Zack Mitchell, Nyles and David did a good job installing push piers along one side of my house. Before the work, the foundation wall was out of plumb by an inch. Afterwards one part of the wall was plumb while another section was only approximately 3/8" out of plumb. Overall, I'm happy. I have piece of mind this portion of the footing/foundation wall is stabilized. If there are any problems I know Tar Heel will comeback out to make any adjustments."

"Our drainage project with The Oak included hooking up 6 downspouts to underground PVC pipes and routing the pipes through our yard. We also had them move a rain barrel, build a stand for it, and hook it up to a downspout. Jesus from The Oak spent a few hours helping us to scope the project. "We had a section of concrete slab in our walkway that had settled about 4 inches where it met the stairs to our front door. This was very visible and also caused water to puddle at that location. We were planning to stain and seal the walkway and driveway, but this situation had to be corrected before we could do that. This was a small project relative to what contractors who do this specialized work generally do.

They called me a few days before the scheduled date to reconfirm. They called again on the day of service to let me know when they would be arriving. They got here when they said they would and quickly got things set up and performed the work.

The raising and leveling of the concrete slab was done nicely and you cannot tell where the "settling" had been and they made sure that water would now drain away from the stairs. It looks great... and I subsequently had the concrete stained and sealed and you would never know there had been a problem.
