"Let me start off by saying that I was "That Guy" that needed a miracle. We have been remodeling our house and have done a lot of projects ourselves. We were in the middle of this project when all of a sudden my wife finds a house and we put money down. Our timeline was very short. We had 2 days to get our house ready. J&D Woodwork were 3 of 18 (and I am not exaggerating ) companies that even called me back. 1 was very slow to respond to me, and one wouldn't answer calls (would only text. "CJ and MJ both came out to the site to talk more about what I wanted after I had received other bids. The other guys wanted to overbuild a simple deck and charge me an arm and a leg, jacking up the price with stuff I didn’t want or need. Ironwood Outdoors listened to my input and gave a much cheaper bid. I never told them the bid from the other guys either. My project ended up being smaller than they normally take but they took it anyway. I appreciated that, and the way they got started right away and finished quickly. MJ was also in constant communication with me, so I was never left wondering when or if someone was going to show up to work.
