"From initial onset, Walter and his guys were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.  It is clear they have your best interest in mind and you can tell that with every person you meet from this company.  We did have a bit of a set back when we picked out the stone from the supplier in that the second stone had a crack that neither of us knew about.  When we went to look at the stone and noticed it, we called Walter right away and he said he would meet us right away at the stone yard (this was on a Saturday)!  Given that the stone we picked was extremely expensive (one of the most expensive in the lot), he carefully measured and found it that it would not fit for our project so he worked with the supplier and got us a new slab.   <br /> When planning the layout on the stone, Walter's expertise was invaluable and he helped us to determine the best piece for our island and surrounding pieces. We also had a bit of a setback regarding our bathroom counter installation and Walter was more than willing to accommodate our schedule and actually agreed to install our kitchen counters and then have his guys come back to install the bathroom at a later date!  Walter was always available, extremely responsive and very accommodating. <br /> If I had one small gripe, it was that his guys were a bit late getting to the job both times, but they called each time and they stayed until about 8pm one night and 5 another night just so they could get the job done.  One of the installers actually came back in his own car to finish since he did not want to leave the job unfinished.  These guys pride themselves in the work they do and I would <strong>highly </strong>recommend them if you are in the market for new countertops.   <br /> Go visit them and talk to Walter.  You will not be disappointed in the quality and ability to deliver <strong>on time</strong>. <br />"

"<p>The price is good but the quality is average at best. The first counter-island had three major blemishes that anyone who cared, could have seen. We didn't notice because a hazy film was applied to the surface when installed and we could not clean off for a few hours. It looked like the granite had been broken and repaired, not in a good way. We complained and waited for a serviceman to see if he could repair it. Two weeks later someone showed up and could not repair the problem. Quarry agreed to replace the island but it would be another month until the matching slab could be shipped from Cleveland to Columbus? Not sure why a 2-3 hr trip takes a month but I said OK. </p> <p>Then I was concerned that it would not match so I HAD to drive to Columbus, 1.5 hours to make sure it did match. We were relieved to see that it did look the same. We tagged the slab and called Quarry to tell them it was OK. At that time, I asked for an additional 4 inches be added to the length of the Island. I spoke to Kim who said she would check with the owner and get back to me. After three days and no response, I called back and Kim said she talked to Mike(owner) who never gave a response but it should not be a problem.</p> <p>I was concerned with that response so I emailed Brad our salesman throughout this whole process and he said that it would not be a problem to add the 4 inches to the island.  The island arrived and installed on November 6th and they did not add the 4 inches that they agreed to add. I was very nice and calm with the process and I feel my easy nature was taken advantage of. I had a verbal and email confirmation and it just did not get done. It makes me wonder how much time is spent on any QA process at Quarry Granite.</p> <p>Quarry Granite could have been a huge hero by doing what they said they would have, have a little pride in the finished product, and care what the customer thinks. The overall job matches but I take credit in making sure the slab was the same, the install employees were nice to work with but not sure who cuts the granite really cares how it looks. Many little chips all along the edge, some were repaired, some too small but you can feel them.</p> <p>Quarry was the cheapest and I wish I had spent a little more and got better quality, overall I give them a C.</p> <br />"

"We have used C & C Granite twice now.  Earlier for a large project and now for this one which was a bathroom vanity top replacement.  For both jobs, the in store staff were professional and tried to find us exactly what we were looking for.  The person that came to our house to get a final measurement was prompt and came and went very quickly.  The final installation went without a hitch and the end product looks amazing. <br />"
