"1/31/2024 We had 7 feet of snow in the middle of the month here in West Seneca An unfortunate consequense of that was that the melting snow on the roof turned into VERY heavy icicles and when they came down, they took down the gutter system that Black Rock installed in 2021. I called Black Rock to see if it could be replaced and to have the roof examined. They got out here "same day" and replaced the gutter the very next day. "Poor installation quality, lack of follow up for warranty coverage. They sub out to local contracts with apparently no quality controls. Gunner put on a new roof, new siding, new front doors, and new gutters. Not one of those was done to complete satisfaction. They covered my dryer vent with Hardie board which could have caused a fire if I didn't smell the burning smell while I was doing laundry. My front 2 doors came in the wrong size after 8 weeks and they had to reorder which took another 8 weeks. Finally, the doors were installed improperly: surrounding trim too short, covered a gap under the step with flashing, and didn't align the doors properly. The flat roof part had to be redone 3 times and it still wasn't properly installed. The property manager at the time, who has since left, was very nice and gave me $1500 credit. I had 2 other roofers out since to look at the problem and both said the flashing was installed improperly and they have to pull off boards etc and this will co"

"They were hired to some work on my grandfather's chimney. While on the roof they knocked off several shingles. They denied that they caused the damage. They said they have proof and offered to send the photos but have yet to receive them. Now they are refusing to answer my calls. My uncle went on the roof to look at the damage and there work. The work on the chimney was very pore quality. We ended up having to hire someone else to fix the damage that they caused. I would not recommend using them ever."

"It's been years now and I'll never forget how wonderful the folks at Warm & Fuzzy were! Our ancient oil heating system was spitting out soot & had become so cost prohibitive that it was cheaper to simply run our electric space heaters all day. Even then, the cold in our little log home was so bad that we sent our godson to stay with his grandmother while we stayed holed up in our bedroom. The water heater was so bad that the shower would start to cool down after 3 minutes & be ice cold in 5. W & F not only helped us get the financing we needed, but since we teach, they agreed to start installing on our Christmas break so we'd be warm for the holiday! By then, my husband had come down with the flu & I was just starting to feel feverish & sick myself. They STILL came, despite my warnings! They had to reroute our duct work and everything, and I'm certain they let themselves out when they finished, since neither of us remember the moment they left! :-) I have no idea if they ended up catching what we had, but they checked back in with us to make sure we were okay, both physically and with the job they did on the system."
