I live in Virginia, my mother's yard is in Illinois, and my sister and Dan's Fence are in Indiana. I met with Steve on a visit in April. He gave great advice on how to lay out the fence, the best fencing to use, and the cost for the job. He gave us a start date for mid-June because of prior commitments on jobs. The people who put in the fence were as nice as they could be and completed a beautiful fence during the week of June 17 as promised. Steve provided the contract to me via email, we corresponded by phone and email, and I mailed him a check after the work was completed. "We hired Rick and J Co. for a basement remodel, which included tearing down old wood paneling, ceiling panels, old carpet, and adding waterproofing for about 1200 square feet of space. J. Co did a full demolition, and installed all new lighting, carpet, drywall, electrical, paint and a wall that would create a new bedroom. They installed a new closet in the added bedroom, all new custom doors, painted our laundry room floor, and even did a few odd jobs that came up along the way (repairing an old pipe, rewiring a telephone line, helping install the knob for a fireplace to name a few).
