"We needed to fix a structural and livability mistake that the first owners of our house made. Rob (founder and owner of Working for You), completely made it possible! It was a tricky situation from the beginning, due to an existing massive tree and other factors. Rob created a plan that solved all of the aesthetic issues we'd struggled with for 18 years - we only wish we'd asked him sooner. He and his partner Scott completed all of the work, which required first building a large new deck that was sympathetic to our quirky home. He was super patient and flexible, as our City's administrators, who changed things multiple times. The front wall of the house needed the exterior door and picture window "swapped," which require supporting the roof, accommodating building/electrical inspectors, keeping everything safe from weather (thunderstorms), keeping our interior as unaffected as possible. All was completed in WFY's typical excellent manner. Oh, and they kept us personally safe from COVID, too, as we have health challenges. When the project was completed, everyone who walked by (we're on a corner - plenty of activity) took time to tell us how great it looks! We are totally thrilled with all of WFY's capabilities. Rob and Scott are valuable providers we call upon regularly - we so highly recommended WFY we lack the words to express! Hire them - you'll be the better for it!"

They were professional, everyone from the salesman, to the office staff, to the three men who removed our old roof and installed the new one. They did not disturb our landscaping and they cleaned the area every evening when they left. It was surprising quiet. After our first appointment, he gave me a very detailed, itemized estimate of the work he recommended to fully waterproof my basement (sidewalk and french drain on one side, regrading the other). In total it was more than I wanted to spend right now, so I opted for just the sidewalk. He was able to schedule the work fairly quickly. His crew was prompt, professional, and fast. They did the demo and had the framing up in less than a full day, and poured the concrete the following morning and were done by lunch. It looks fantastic and is keeping that side of my basement dry. "Called Weld & Sons on Monday morning for service. The reception passed my information onto the dispatcher who scheduled a 30 minute service window on Tuesday. This was not an emergency. Technician, Zach, arrived on time, and performed work. Note that there was a separate fee to haul away water softener, but total came in below estimate from dispatcher. It was heavy and did not look fun, so the $65 dollar fee was well worth it. Total was $289 ($68 for service call + $150 for labor + $6 for parts). One recommendation for the future is to have the technicians wear shoe covers when going in and out of the house to protect the floors. No issue as it was dry and cold outside, but a nice to have. I would hire again."

"We used Northland Coating this year to seal coat our basement floor. It will last for decades. It all started when we had some basement flooding and then decided to use Luxury Vinyl Plank on our basement floor. We purchased the flooring (special order so it couldn't be returned) and then started tearing up carpeting and pad. What a disaster. Whoever glued the pad down must have danced across the floor with glue. Circular patterns, waves and open areas - no logic. The pad was a nightmare to get up, especially where they just seemed to pool the glue. But that wasn't the worst part. The floor was so uneven with lots of valleys and a really high spot in the middle. We couldn't lay the flooring on that. So we rented a grinder and tried to even out a lot of it. It was too much variance. I started calling places to level the floor with fill. Either they were booked out for 6-8 weeks or one company wanted $6000. Everyone else was $2400 - $3000. Then I obtained two quotes for sealing the floor instead. One of the companies we previously had done business with came in at almost double the price of Northland. Plus they wanted to speak to my husband too. Seriously, if I am paying why should you need to speak to anyone else? Northland was great. Justin came out and quoted our project. We were originally going to have most of the basement coated in 2 phases since we had very large items that couldn't be moved out (a piano was one of them). There was one area we were going to leave carpeted but ultimately we had the basement done in 3 phases. Scheduling was easy. It is a messy project as they do some additional grinding. They try to keep the dust to a minimum but it is dust and gets around. Justin gave me a link to the supply company and I was able to pick a custom mixed color for our floor. You can choose from many colors or design your own. You can also choose the flake size. The supply company also had a tool where you could upload your photo and show the floor color in that space. It was easy. Choose some texture in the floor or it will be slippery. The floor looks great. I even have the piano metal wheels just sitting on the floor and they are fine. We scratched the floor slightly moving a heavy object but it is hard to see unless the light hits it just right. This is a solid floor. It has been months now and it is holding up just fine. Plus it is waterproof. Jake and his team did a fine job. They completed all 3 phases and cleaned up nicely. We do have seams at the phase transitions but you won't have them if you complete the work in one phase. There was some chipping at the tile transition to the bathroom but Justin offered to pay to fix it. We just negotiated the price down for phase three. I was able to fix it myself using some supplies from Ace Hardware and a YouTube video."
