"Javier & Tommie are simply great to work with. They are both very professional but also very friendly. We have installed granite in several other properties with other fabricators. This was by far our best experience. <br /> We got bids from several fabricators. MGR was very competitive and offered better service in that Javier does the work himself and meets with you to lay out the counter tops and discuss finishes and details of installation ? no surprises. When the slab has variations the lay out of the cuts is important. Javier was great in working with us to get the most from the granite. <br /> Also, after looking at about a dozen stone yards on our own, Tommie steered us to a stone supplier who had beautiful slabs at reasonable prices. <br /> Be aware, some so-called fabricators are just jobbers. They solicit the job but sub out the work. They will also use cheaper prefab counters where possible. Red flags are you select stone from a sample, not an entire slab, and you can not visit the fabrication shop to lay out your counters."

"I had new quartzite counter tops put in by A&R granite in March. Unfortunately, the seam was very noticeable both visually and by feel. It was very rough at the seam where the 2 pieces were put together. The workers came out a week later to fix it using using what I think they said was Super glue. That did not hold up for more than a couple of weeks. After that, the owner himself came out and sanded down the seam but that took off the shine off that area and created a bumpiness on the stone. He said he would order a product that could bring the shine back. It took about 2 months before they came out again and that was after me calling them twice about it. The people that came out to shine the area were not able to bring the shine back to what it was before. They said there was nothing more they could do. My feeling is that they should have made sure the counter top was level before they finished installing them, then the seam would have been smooth. Overall, they did not get the repair done in a timely basis and the end result of the fix was not good."

"Unbelievably great.........it's like I put in new flooring........he even gave me a gallon of concentrated cleaner. We got started a little late as they had to return to shop for a stripper product.....but really pleased with results......moved big furniture with dollies( we had moved out most small stuff prior to their arrival ) and got started......it took about 7-8 hours so would have been better with an earlier start ( 12 to 12:30 start after trip back to shop) but not a huge deal as we didn't have plans Friday night. 3 step process, clean, seal and polish...."
