"It was a pleasure to work with Matt his communication was great arrived on time and did a wonderful job. When he was done our Granite countertops looked brand new. He also repaired our Kitchen sink while he was here. I would recommend Surface Design with the highest rating thanks Matt"

"Matt repaired a bathroom sink which had fallen out of the cabinet. He was timely, courteous, had a creative solution to the problem that worked perfectly and not only removed his trash but even wiped out the cabinet leaving it cleaner than when he arrived. I highly recommend using Surface Designs."

"I highly recommend Peter Smith Painting for exterior house painting based on the recent (June, 2022) outstanding work they did painting our wood shingle house. In addition to the painting they also did a significant amount of carpentry prep work. I have to say that I was totally impressed with everyone on both the carpentry & the painting teams. They were all extremely professional craftsmen and did meticulous work with outstanding attention to detail. Peter was also directly involved in managing the work with regular site visits & he was extremely responsive to each of my text message change requests. Importantly, the work was started & completed on the precise schedule that Peter had committed to - despite some weather challenges. The outstanding quality of all the work further emphasized how very appropriate the pricing for the project was. My wife & I are so pleased with the results that we are already planning on using Peter Smith Painting for our interior painting project in the coming months."

"Smart Tile is an excellent company. Our representative Lorenzo couldn't have been any better. He is beyond excellent. Very concerning careful and professional. "Another OUTSTANDING renovation by Rocco and his team. Punctual, clean and top quality craftsmanship in converting our 1980s style bathroom into a modern spa-like showpiece. The team removed our old tile, jacuzzi style bathtub, funky hardware and vanity expeditiously. Then roughed the plumbing, laid new tile, installed soaking tub, shower, toilet, vanity etc with the care, skill and attention to detail of an absolute professional. For the record, Rocco’s team renovated our guest bathroom in 2015 and it still looks great! Needless to say, it was an easy decision to enlist Rocco’s team again."

"Overall, it went pretty well. I took a while to decide on which of the colours and edging I wanted; they did a good job of following up and reminding me. Since this work is for a house I'm renting, I wasn't always able to get measurements quickly. There were some quirks. The Big Deal price doesn't include removal and disposal of the old countertop; that was an additional $300. It also doesn't include the re-attachment of the sink as they don't do that work so I needed to get a plumber involved. To be fair, both of these were disclosed in the Big Deal and by them afterwards. Since this is template-based, I went out to the house and met an installer who created the template. He worked quickly but, unfortunately, his English was rather limited and several times during the entire project, he had to call their main office and hand me the phone so I could talk to someone there instead. This slowed down the process and made the interactions feel clumsy. On a positive note, they do care about the work; I had decided on 1/4" bevel edging and the main office called back and said that that edging has a higher risk of chipping and, since this is a rental, I should go with the 3/8" round instead, which I did. Since I was reusing my old sink, they brought the slab in and cut the hole for it on-site but used a vacuum and cleaned up the dust quite well. They also lowered the slide-in sink since the new countertop are thinner than the old one. This was after yet another back-and-forth conversation that resulted in a phone call to the main office so they could tell me they would do the work but wouldn't be liable for any resulting damage; there was none. The result looks good and once I get the sink re-attached, all will be well. There are still a couple of minor issues but it is a worthwhile upgrade."

"Roca Construction called me back in 20 minutes and showed  up at my house in less than an hour. We talked about all the problems/projects I had in mind. He gave me ideas and listened my ideas.  We decided to break the job to 2 different  jobs and do the steps and all the cement work first. Roca and his work men showed up at my house next morning around 8 am and started working. All the  workmen are  nice, polite, hard working and easy going. They returned every morning around the same time including Saturday and Sunday to get everything done. Roca has good ideas to solve problems and surprises that come about when you fix nearly 100 year old house he also has an excellent eye for detail. He has knowledge in many areas of building and fixing which is very handy. All the work turned out super and new brick steps look great and they match well with the existing stone front wall. I will be using Roca and his work crew again."

"Convenient our one-stop shopping capability in their showroom.
Here I could see how the cabinets, appliances and countertops would come together.
This is not possible in other showrooms - and usually means going from appliance store to kitchen design center - to granite showroom - sometimes two or three trips, while trying to get designer and sales staff to coordinate.
Loved the experience of having the complete package in one place - and that, along with great design team - let me envision how the kitchen would come together.
There was a great selection of appliances. Including some choices that are not available at any other showroom in Westchester (that I know of).
For instance, there was a refrigerator that I'd seen at the Architectural Digest Show in Manhattan, and had given up on tracking down because they have such limited distribution - but there it was - and almost $5,000 less than my original choice. (Sub Zero).
Expert design, knowledgeable staff, and the sensible display of cabinetry made this a good experience."
