"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"We used ACJ , Remodling to replace our roof. Our house is three levels and approximately 2,000 square feet. We required having the existing roof removed down to the furring strips, and replacing it with plywood and shingles. Additionally, we had the roof on our extension converted from a flat roof to a pitched roof with traditional gutters. To top things off, this job began just a weeks before Christmas. This was not a small job. The crew at ACJ, Remodling were professional and courteous. They kept the disruption to our lives to a minimum and when the project was completed we were left with a beautiful new roof and new gutters. Winter is an extremely difficult time to do this kind of work but they managed to work in difficult weather conditions, keeping the length of the job to the fewest number of days possible. "They upsold me on gutters and windows. One section of the gutter is not right. They have a hole just going from one section of the roof right onto the shingles and it backs up with leaves. The roof is great. The windows are already falling apart and I really wish they were installed better. Pretty janky install. Just cut out the ole windows and put new ones. While covering the wood trim with vinyl trim. Didn’t matter that the wood is rotten underneath. Yeah well. I won’t be in this house forever."
