"This pro provided useful information via a virtual (online) video consultation. Since this service does not send technicians to the home, they did not do the actual work. I am considering whether to order parts and try to complete the repair myself or under their virtual direction."

"I had a question about microwave repair. He answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately new parts are no longer available for model in question. He gave me part # if I wanted to call around for a used part somewhere. Got lots of good info."

"Tech was great. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Part wasn't on truck so it took additional day for repairs to be completed. I have not had an appliance repair in a long time so not sure what things cost. Bill was about $235 including diagnosis, parts, labor and 10% discount. Fair I guess all things considered. I would recommend."

"Called many parts stores trying to find one that I could pick it up because I needed it right away and didn't want to pay $10.00-$15.00 for shipping one parts store told me to try repair clinic so I called and they had my part! So drove out picked up part this place was amazing they seemed to have everything! will be going back. So if you don't need a service tech to come out and you can do it yourself or know someone who can this place is fantastic!"

"My water pressure regulator was old and the water pressure coming into my home was running on the high side, so I decided to have the regulator replaced. I also opted to replace my rubber washing machine hoses with stainless steel. As always, Allgood does a great job. I've been using them for four years. They are always professional and do quality work. Usually, there's a coupon or discount I can use--but Allgood wasn't running any specials and the Angie's List coupons weren't relevant to the work I was having done. So I had to pay full price, which was $675--and was too high in my opinion. In fact, I had planned to also have my water heater flushed, but that was going to add another $200+ dollars to the bill and I decided to wait on that until I could get a coupon since it's not urgent and I felt the other repairs needed to be addressed first. When I went out to get my mail, I discovered they had left my water meter in my front yard uncovered as well as left a metal piece of equipment (don't know the name of the piece) in my yard. I put the meter cover back in place, but they need to come get their metal piece."

"I got the parts I ordered, they were packaged very well and Ashley was an absolute gem to deal with. I had an issue with my parts I received and she jumped right on the matter and resolved it immediately. I am completely happy with this company and will definitely use them again for any parts needed on any of my appliances. Completely professional, courteous and thorough!"

"This place is AMAZING! I called another place and they totally robbed me but Joy and her team came to my rescue! They told me straight up what was wrong with my Samsung and came to my condo and fixed it the same day I called her. She was nice enough to give me a year warranty on my tv too, just incredible. She also gave me an extra hd cord and remote since I had lost mine. They saved my life with my kids. Thank you so much. She gave me a bunch of cards and I am spreading the word on fb too. Myrtle beach tv repair is the only place I recommend people!"

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Statesboro, GA

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
